Over the past few weeks people keep telling me that i am mean. I think they are just kidding, but really when i stop to think about it i have gotten pretty mean. I think most of it is just becoming so incredibly jaded. I no longer expect the best out of people. All day, every day, i feel like people just disappoint me. The atmosphere i am in 40 hours a week is pretty much "doom and gloom". i try to stay positive and happy, but its hard to when you are surrounded by people who are not. I think the stress of that plus other things just makes me very short with people. I dont mean to be a jerk, but i think i just come across that way. Another reason i think i come across as a mean person is because i do like to joke with people. i pretty much take nothing seriously and when im uncomfortable i make a joke. I think this scares people and people who have no sense of humor just think im being a giant ahole.
So now i am trying to be nicer to people, i really am, but some people just make it really hard. I am turning over a new leaf and just keeping my big mouth shut. It will be a new thing for me, but i think i should at least try to be more pleasant.
Dreams should stay in your head Well I feel ashamed of the things that I said

Is this thing on?
Ok so blogging in the latter half of the year just didnt happen. but guess what!? im back! Nothing really exciting going on, which is probably why i stop even playing with this thing.
Overall 2010 was a great year.I really lived outside my comfort zone and pushed myself to do things i never thought i would do, hello tattoo! I'm glad for the memories i made and the friends i had them with. I'm hoping 2011 will be just as good, if not better. So far im not off to the greatest start a few nagging aliments and some other things. But I feel like January always starts out like this.
Now to just make it through till the weekend and start keeping up with this blog!

Blistered feet, Skinned Knees, and Guitar Picks: A story of triumph!
what a week! Last thursday night my bestie Caitlin arrived for 6 days of craziness! She was supposed to get in around 4 but because of flight delays she got in closer to 9. On our way to logan Dan and i stopped at chipolte and got burritos, where dan got hit by a car. seriously. we were walking in and a woman was backing up and HIT HIM. hes fine, but this trip was not off to a great start. but caitlin arrived safe and sound and thats all that matters. we got home and hung out a bit and prepared for what would be a super busy weekend.
Friday was day one of Hanson. they played in Hyannis and we decided to spend the day there. we got lunch and ate it on the beach, where of course it started to rain. Once it started raining we drove around, a lot. We got ice cream @ ben & jerrys, shopped, and drove around some more! We got to the venue about an hour before doors opened and it was crappy and rainy. We hung out in the car, people watched and listened to inappropriate music for a hanson show (coughpopthatpussycough). Once doors were open we ventured in to our seats. The weather was really crappy and the usher at the show were dicks. The show its self was amazing, but the experience was less than great. We were in the 3rd row and hanson always puts on a great show. so we did have a great time. The show ended very early (1030) so we were by no means ready to go home. We were a little on the mad side that the show ended early and we were unable to take pix w/o being super paranoid about our cameras getting taken away. So what do we do? we find the closest dive bar and drink our sorrows away. We went to the 19th hole tavern and drank 3 dollar buds. We had a lot of fun here. there was another fan controlling the jukebox playing hanson songs and a few cape cod gangstahs hitting on us, and the bar tender even gave us a free beer. So the night ended on a high note. We got home after 2am, which btw is the latest ive gotten home in a good while!
Saturday will go down in history as the funnest day of my life. In the morning we dragged sleepy asses out of bed and went to plymouth. We got some lunch and then headed to Cohasset for day 2 of hanson. Due to the festivities of the previous night, i really had zero hopes for tonight. We got there early to do the walk. As we are going to get in line i see a van form my work there. i had a little mini panic attack but then tried to get myself back stage.... fail... but it was ok. i walked with isaac on the walk and talked to him and it was effing amazing. i am nothing if not shameless. After the walk we had a lot of time to kill and we had Seen Robert Schwartzman riding his bike around, so we decided we wanted to go find him. We drove around the town and had kinda given up on finding him. As we are driving around we see the rest of the band walking, so i rolled down my window so caitlin could get a pic. she thought i was going to yell, so she hid. haha. We drive a little further down the street and see another band member by himself, so i DID yell out the window. we were laughing so hard after that, i had to pull over. (hey i told u i have no shame!) After that Caitlin had a stain on her dress and i had blisters on my feet for the one mile barefoot walk so we stopped at the Mobil station down the street. We sat in the car for a bit and tried to make ourselves human again for a few mins when all of then sudden Robbert is walking by with his bike! we grab our camera and walk over to him, introduce ourselves and get a picture. He was very nice and actually had a real conversation with us. At this point we had a few more hours to kill then the show. we got to the show and had 2nd row seats. At this point i thought the night could NOT get any better. But it did! while isaac was sing we made eye contact more than once. it was amazing. Singing a minute without you while looking into isaac hansons eyes while he is smiling was the best feeling in the world. And at that moment i thought nothing could make this night better. Pure bliss. THEN at the end of the show isaac threw his guitar pick. i ligit dove on to the floor to get it, skinned my knee, but i GOT it!!! and THAT concluded the best night of my life. seriously, i havent had so much fun in i cant remember how long.
Sunday we dragged our asses to boston and went on the duck tours, so much fun! then we did the sky walk at the prudential center, which had such amazing views! Then walked all the way from the prudential center to the north end. thanks to caitlin and he patience and stellar map reading skills we made it to dinner at fiore in the north end. the food was AMAZING! i love the north end we ate, drank and laughed. We stayed up way too late that night and had so much fun.
Monday we went shopping in providence and then got tattoos!! Yes i got a hanson tattoo. its really cute. Im glad i did it with caitlin. We have been friends for so long and this is just something so special that we will always have and will always remind us of each other.
Tuesday was caitlins last day. we slept in a bit drove to marshfeild and went to the general store steve Carrel owns and then dropped Caitlin off @ logan. I was sad to see her go but glad for all the memories we made. I couldnt have asked for a better mini vacation and cant wait to hang out with caitlin again.

And God said HAHA AMY
Whenever i look forward to things in my life i always get let down. This is a big part of the reason i look forward to very little. I am always an expect the worst kind of person. because the worst is 90% of the time what happens for me. I never let ppl close to me cuz i am always getting hurt. every major event in my life, no matter how much fun i have, something doesnt go right. i try to roll with the punches. i always put on a happy face and let ppl stab me in the face. u win universe. u win. i except the fact that nothing will ever go my way, ever.

Disney (less than a month later!)
I have been wanting to blog about Disney for a while now, but every time i go to something else catches my attention. I swear the older i get the more i develop A-d-d.
So Anyways, our Disney trip was so perfect and i am SO sad thinking that its all over and we have to wait at least another year before we can go back. we left bright and early sunday morning to catch a 6am flight! We thought we would have a nice hastle free trip to logan by printing out our boarding passes on Saturday. Of course Jet blue was having some issue with their system and we were unable to. So needless to say i spent most of sat night worrying about whether or not we would actually be able to get on the plane. All the worrying was for absolutely nothing. The woman @ the jet blue counter informed us that the comp system they use is a POS and it doesnt work very well (boy can i relate!) So we get thru security and had about 2 hrs to kill. I hate flying, a lot, so i was a big ball of nerves and excitement. Once we got on the plane and were in the air for a bit i felt a lot better. (the Roseanne marathon on TVLand helped). We arrived in orlando around 9am and it was hot and humid (JUST how i love it). I had hired a car (for 60 bucks) to come pick us up at the airport and bring us to the hotel. The previous night they had called to inform me that we were being upgraded from the rinky dink 60 dollar sedan to a STRETCHED HUMMER. (which i looked up and is over 400 buck!) This was the start of what would be the most amazing trip ever. The hummer was ridiculous and we got looks the whole ride there. I felt way too important when we got to our hotel. We had told our vacation planner over the phone that we would be celebrating our honeymoon (which really wasnt TOO big of a lie, i mean technically we never did go on a honeymoon...) so when we checked in we got 'just married pins'. After we checked in and threw our bags in the room we ran out and went right to Animal Kingdom. First ride of the day was expedition Everest. Best. ride. ever. It was a great way to kick off the day. next we hit up the dinosaurs ride and the water rapids ride (where there was a 2 hr wait and the fast pass guy just let us go thru the line because we were just married!) we did the walking safaris (skipped the actual safari since we had done that last time we were there). We stayed there till around dinner time and we headed back to teh hotel. Dan had ordered the 'ears to the bride and groom package' which gave me my bride Minnie ears. which is all i ever really wanted! It also came with some cheese and crackers and a bottle of champagne (which we promptly spilled all over everything!) So we relaxed on our patio with a glass of champagne and then went down to the hotel bar. For dinner we ordered nachos and dan got a beer and i got a drink with a strobe ice cube in it (that i got to keep!) After that we hopped a boat over to the magic kingdom that was open till 1am our first night. Here we caught the fireworks, went on splash mountain, thunder mountain, haunted mansion, pirates of the Caribbean, Tea cups (where dan did not get sick this time!) and bought 13 dollar sunblock! To say magic kingdom after dark is incredible would be a huge understatement. the castle all lit up, the lights, the fireworks, the less crowdedness! it was perfect. We finally called it a night around midnight and went back to the room and passed the heck out. i honestly have no idea how we stayed up that late on such little sleep.
Day 2. We headed to epcot first thing in the morning. i was really looking fwd to epcot this trip because this is the first disney trip since turning 21 and i was looking forward to drinking around the world. It was also Epcots flower festival and i was REALLY looking forward to seeing that. In the morning we went on Soarin', a ride whose name i cant rmeber but took u thru disneys eco farm, Saw a jim cantore ride (txt my cajun to tell her next time shes there she can ride jim), test track, finding nemo, a nice walk through the nemo aquarium, and then walked through all the pavilions. We were starving and we are picky, so we ate at the America pavilion and drank beer in Germany, Sake in Japan, and more beer in England. In England 'the hat lady' sang us 'just married' song. It was nice and embarrassing all at the same time. After a long day in the hot sun (and a lot of beer) we headed back to the room. We chilled again on the patio with some cheese and crackers and fed the ducks. After that we headed to downtown disney for some shopping and i had hoped a balloon ride. It was too windy that night for the ride so i was a little bummed. but i did manage to spend a good chunk of change @ the stores, so all was not lost. After that we were absolutely SPENT and headed back to the hotel to pass out.
Day 3. Hollywood studios. Not my fav park. we went on the great movie ride, the back lot tours, saw Indiana Jones, and went on some star wars ride. We also went on a toy story ride that 2 nice people gave us their sold out fast passes for. That was probably the most fun i had in that park. Dan won the game, but i had more accuracy so thats that! After hollywood studios we came back to the hotel and had a few hours to kill before the Luau @ the Polynesian hotel. we puttered around our hotel and took some photos and sat on the hotel beach for a while. This was our last night, so i was starting to get sad already :( We headed to the Polynesian for the 8pm Luau and had so much fun. the food wasnt great because it was a lot of meat on bones (which i do not eat) so i really had a hard time getting over the fact that there were animal parts on my plate, even after 3 glasses of wine! The show, however, was amazing! we got called up to dance for our honeymoon, which was just a lot of fun. The night was a perfect last night! Again completely beat, we went back to the hotel and passed out.
Day 4. Our last day. We took the first boat over to the magic kindgdom and had breakfast on Main street usa and did even MORE shopping. (ps- we had already mailed back TWO boxes of souvenirs... yes i have a shopping problem!!) after about an hour we headed back to the room, gathered up our stuff and went to the lobby to pout and wait for our car to come. The car came and picked us up and dan loves to talk to people, so we spent the whole car ride talking to our driver. and of COURSE he also used to work in TV so dan just HAD to tell him i work in Tv. So i couldnt even pout the whole way to the airport. Orlandos airport sucks compared to logan. It was confusing and busy. once we got thru security (where i sliced my hand on my bracelet since they made me take it off) i sat and read for 2 hrs. we got on the plane, i was exhausted. All the not sleeping had finally caught up with me. The rise home i had a short attention span and watched about 16 shows in 2.5 hrs. We got off the plane at logan and it was cold and raining. It matched how i was feeling perfectly.
Disney was so much fun. i'm so glad we went and i cant wait to go back. Luckily i took enuff pictures to hold me over till next time :)

better
It started last friday, when i finally got out and enjoyed the nice weather. i realized that i have been a complete shithead for months. Between work stress and just being in a rut i have been miserable. I decided that i really just need to stop sweating the small stuff and get back to being myself. the person who, deep down, is happy go lucky. I have never been a downer, but over the past few months i havent been able to get out of my own way. This past weekend was a perfect rejuvenation for me. the weather was nice and i was able to just relax and enjoy my life again... So far this week has been fine. the weather isnt great, but u know what? its ok! i havent wanted to off myself, i havent complained really and best of all tomorrow is my birthday! i will NOT spent my 27th year as miserable as i spent my 26th. Heres to a new year of me, getting back to loving life and being happy! :)
