Things around here have been so weird! On Monday it will be October and its still in the high 80s! The leaves are changing and im wearing capris! its just a really weird thing. being from New England we expect it to get really cold and shitty in the beginning of September. so strange!
I feel really tired today. The pup was trying to wake me @ 630, i laid there till 7, so i dont think she was happy, but i dont care! im still freeking tired tho.. i feel like latly i have been in a complete state of grogginess!

I spent ALL DAY yesterday thinking it was thursday. I did all my thursday work and everything......... So i was driving home last night and im like 'wow, my gas tank is still half full i did really good on gas this week'. it wasnt until i was like 3/4 of the way home that i realized it was still wednesday. ugh! haha. so now today will be super boring since i did all my work all ready and its only 10am!! =(

I hate when people ask "hows married life?" really what am i supposed to say to that? its sunshine and butterflies. Usually i just respond that its the same. and most people look at me funny. ive been with dan for 6 and a half years, nothings changed except my new hyphenated license. lol. i really dont know what people are expecting for an answer?

why does the weekend zoom by but then monday drags?
this weekend i was really productive! i literally scrubbed my house from top to bottom with lysol and a sponge! having a puppy is ROUGH lol. and i didnt realize how much dog hair there was everywhere! I honed my cooking skills and on sat i made a ham and cheese breaded chicken, which was actually really good! and i made a cheese cake!! Sunday i made steak and cheese sandwiches which also turned out pretty good! look at me! such a sally home maker! haha.
Sunday we planted our tulips i just hope we did it right cuz i want them to grow in the spring!!


Last Sunday i was on the computer playing a game and all the neighborhood dogs started to bark, i looked out the window and there were jahoviahs witnesses going door to door! So i shut the door and they rang the bell and went away... So yesterday im cleaning and i see 3 head walk by my front window.. OH SHIT! my front door is WIDE open (the screen door is shut and locked THANK GOD). The dog has been quietly laying by the door all day just people watching like she does. These fucking people ring my bell, and get my dog all wild! shes barking jumping on the screen and whining and i'll be damned if im going to answer the door and get told about how unholy i am in their cult religion eyes! so i hide and called dan!! lol. the whole time they kept asking bindi "where is ur owner??" im trying to get the dog to come to me as softly as i can, but its so not working.. i finally crawl to the kitchen and they were gone so she came. holy hell. note to self, i am a prisoner in my own home on sundays.

so last night im innocently showering and my nice, new, expensive shower head FELL OFF wtf... it started to spray a little so i tried tightening it and the damn thing broke right in my hands... for some god given reason i saved the box and it said it has a 5 year warranty. so i emailed the company and they said they will replace it. i need to do a zillion things, but better than spending money on a new one... =) Why do these things only happen at my house? seriously!!

On October 14th Im doing the walk for breast cancer. It should be fun, my cousins, my parents and my aunt and uncle are all doing it and we're trying to get 5 more people to do it so we can get our team name on our shirts!! Hopefully we'll be able to... dans on stand by since hes off that day! lol so if we need a 12th person he'll do it. Now i have to grovel for money.. im no sure how, but i will. maybe i'll just casually mention that im doing the walk and ppl will offer to be my sponsor!

I'm glad its friday, it doesnt really feel like a friday. Mostly because its been really quiet, and we have no plans for the weekend. Its supposed to be nice out at least, so im sue we'll wind up doing something.

changes

Its funny how quickly the seasons change around here. Its been hot as hell for months and then suddenly Monday it was 40! and then tomorrow its gonna be 80*... One of the many quirks of living in NE. One of my favorite things about the change in seasons is shopping for new clothes and finding old clothes you forgot you had. I have my closet separated into warm clothes and summer clothes. Last night when i was picking out my outfit for today i opened the warm clothes side and saw a bunch of things i forgot i had! haha. My least favorite thing about this time of year?? Putting on shoes and NOT sandals.
Today my dad had his shoulder operated on, i just talked to my mom and theyre just waiting for him to wake up from the anesthesia. Hopefully he will start feeling better since his shoulder has been bothering him for over a year.
Last night dan set up the WiFi for our Wii and we downloaded Donkey kong country. We played Wii from like 7 untill 1030. Donkey kong was so fun. I seriously wasted millions of hours on that game when i was like 10. Needless to say, im sure we will try and get at least a little bit of kong in tonight!

So one of my favorite real shows is 24. Last season was disappointing to say the least. I was just reading some interviews with the creators and two characters that died (one last season by being STABBED IN THE CHEST and the other died 2 seasons ago in an explosion) are coming back. I guess they reason that they never actually SAID they were dead... i dunno how i feel about 24 taking story lines from soaps! lol. i guess we'll see since these were really good characters! i wish they'd bring Edgar back tho! i mean he only died of gas poisoning!

I finally got my proofs this morning! and the webmaster decided my new name is Abby!! lol. Close enuff i guess! The pix came out really cute! Totally worth the wait!


I really have nothing to blog about, i literally did nothing. Dan and i went to the outlets so he could get his watch fixed, but that was it. it was nice doing nothing.


Tonight our contractor is coming tonight to go over our estimate for our laundry room, i cant wait! lol it will be nice to not have to leave my house to do laundry... WOW im LAME =)

So work has been absolutely crazy lately! and for really no GOOD reason. Monday my coworker called out cuz her car was broke, so Monday was super busy. and then yesterday i came in a little late and then today i was finally able to catch up! hooray!
Yesterday as i mentioned i was a little late because i went to Social security and the RMV and changed my name. Im official now! haha. and today i passed in all my paper work @ work too. woo! haha.
So the weekend was good! it was 90* on saturday so dan and i sat by the pool and read for hours! it was so great! and then sunday he went and watched the pats game, while i addressed the thank you letters. (which are out in the mail, so im glad to be done with those!!!). Over all the weekend was good. nothing excitings been going on, just the same old crap!
We got 3 new fish last night and we got home and frigging petco gave us a dead one! thanks a LOT!! so now dan has to trek back there. i swear th fish are gonna c us coming and hide!!
Bindi's been good. shes bordering on being behaved and being a jerk. shes either one extreme or the next. we're really have a hard time training her to go out.. like she gets it SOMETIMES. silly puppy..

fridays

At most places of employment fridays are a nice slow day. In the world of media, however, it is my busiest day! i think i walked about 50 miles today and looked for like a zillion tapes. and then everything has been a problem today. By this time on fridays i can honestly say i am READY for the weekend!
So this whole name changing thing is a giant pain in my white ass! i was on hold with social security for 45 mins just to ask them WHAT I NEED TO BRING to change my name cuz i am NOT doing it online! So they ask me to spell out my last name (all comp generated) and my last name is *NINE* letters!!!!!!!! they spell back to me ARDY is this correct?? UM U MISSED a FEW letters not to mention the fact that only TWO of those are in my last name! RARARARA. so im going to try and get as much done with this name change SHIT as i can this week.

on an unrelated note, THANK GOD the new fall season starts monday. i cant take any more court show, tyra show or dr. keith REPEATS!

adventures

So yesterday dan and i went to the red sox. I was sooo freeking tired (and i still am). i decided to be adventurous and not get a hot dog. I ended up getting chicken tenders and fries and they were REALLY good! yuuuumm! So anyways, 1030 rolls around, we're losing and it was the bottom of the 9th, so we left. We got to our car and i was thinking that we might actually get home by 1130. we go to get off the exit and its freeking closed. Now Boston is not only confussing, but scarey late at night and because of the red sox and school starting this week the roads are busy with pedestrians. The detour sign says take I-90 West. I do NOT have a great sence of direction but i know that raynham is NOT west of the city... We decided to take it and hoped eventually we'd see one of the 3 highways we know will take us back to raynham! so we start seeing all these signs for cities ive heard of but i really had no idea where they were in relation to the city, like are we headed BACK into the city or are we headed the right way?? then one of my fears comes true. we end up in a TUNNEL! i can NOT do tunnels and not only is it a tunnel, its a tunnel under construction! AHH i hate the city!! lol. So we're driving and we end up at a toll (1 dollar) and dan asks the lady how to get back, she says we need to get on 93 DUH we TRIED THAT) so we figure at least we must be headed in the right direction cuz she didnt tell us to turn around!! so we keep going and we keep seeing signs for unfamiliar towns. The only good thing was that we were lost in the Good part of the burbs! I just kept hoping that i would see a sign for the cape so we could just start heading towards the cape cuz at least we would be going in the right direction! Finally we see a sign and ANOTHER toll. Dan asks the guy at the toll and as hes asking i see a sign for dedham!!! so horray!! i know where we are! we get back on 93 and we made it home!! all with out the help of GPS or calling someone to mapquest us home!! lol! when we got home miss bindi had apparently eaten caffeine pills cuz sh was all kinds of hyper. i played ball with her while dan was in the shower. It didnt help. she was digging and chewing and just being a brat ALL NIGHT. i fell asleep around 1 and then at 330 i awoke to my pillow shaking from the miss digger! dan got so frustrated he left the bed, and after that she laid in his spot and fell asleep for 3 more hrs. i woke up at 630 and laid there till 7. woke up and took the dog to dan and laid back down for like 10 mins. Im so freeking tired today i dunno how my eyes are even open!! Tonight we're watching a movie (which i will prob fall asleep durring!). Im just so happy to not have anything else to do for a while. No red sox, no weddings, no parties, no meeting ppl! NOTHING. and i LOVE it!! This weekend is supposed to be 90, it will probably be summers last horrah, You can definatly feel fall in the air, last night when i took the dog out it was crisp. So looks like summers over, but its ok. i had a GREAT summer. I got married and got a puppy!! Now its he fall, which i actually dont HATE because its too early to snow, and its halloween and almost time for christmas! =)

wedding hang over!

So Daniel and i were married over a week ago and i feel like its just NOW starting to go back to normal. We wrote out our Thank you notes yesterday, they just need to be addressed and then all things wedding will be done ( more or less). I still need to keep some flowers from my bouquet (which are taking up the bottom shelf of my fridge!) and then we just need to wait for the album.. hopefully by the end of the week we will have the link!
This weekend was a lot of fun! Friday night Nicole, Eric, Dan, and I went to the sox game. we lost, but we had fun. Then saturday we went to go get a new catfish (this would be like number 1000) and we found out WHY they keep dying!!!! apparently our tank isnt big enuff for a 3rd fish! so they keep suffocating!! opps! so dad gave us Ians old tank which is bigger, but the air filter is broken, they thought they fixed it last night but i went in the living room and there was water all over the floor. hopefully they can fix it tonight so we can transfer crush and baron over and then get them a catfish and a new friend.
Sunday night Nic and Eric had some people over for a game night. that was cool too. derek teresa and jen all left easly, but we stayed (along w/ one of erics friends) for a while after and finished playing the game we were in the middle of.
work is pretty quiet today only 3 people are in my department, so other then the sound of me typing and Motel theres like NO noise! its actually really nice!!
