my big fat wedding

So i have been trying for a week to write about my wedding! I finally have some down time so here it goes!
Thursday night me and my girls went out and got our nails done. It was a lot of fun and very relaxing. Friday everyone went over my parents house and my dad made waaay too much food! it seems as though everyone had a pretty good time. Eric spilled his beer all over miss daisy, so she stinks and is sticky! lol. Then after everyone left me and ian and my cousins said behind and played mario party for a few hrs. We had a good time. I then ran around doing a ton of shit with my mom untill like 10pm. I went to bed at 1130 (way later than i would have LIKED to go). but i fell right asleep. The alarm went off at sometime around 530 i think. i ate some toast and said good bye to daniel. i picked up my mom and nicole and we went and got our hair done. By this time im neither excited or nervous. Just tired! lol (go figure im the one that stayed home and I was tired). I got back to my moms house @ like 815 and started to do my makeup. at like 825 the door bell rings! it was the photog! a HALF HOUR early! im not even DRESSED! neither is my mom or nicole. And my dad and ian have been working on it. lol. So we rush to get my makeup on and then we go to get the dress on. That wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. it only took like 10 mins to lace me up and get my shoes on. Everything from there is a blur. The rest of the girls at this point got to my moms house and we all had some pix. Then we got in the limo and got to benjamins a little early. We sat in the limo and waited until most people were inside. We got up stairs and im just itching to get going. everyone keeps saying how pretty i look and damn i did feel pretty! Every last detail was perfect. Im waiting up at the top of the stairs and my dad is freeking out a bit sipping water and acting strange. The coordinator gives me a tissue, that i told her i wouldnt need. lol. (really im such a boy). I walk down the isle and the first thing i see is dan bawling, which made me start to cry. (thanks). Then my dad wispered in my ear that he loves me and hes very proud of me. Made me cry harder. I ended up giving my tissue to dan, he looked like he needed it. The ceremony was nice and once i got the cry out and looked out into the crowd i was much more relaxed. We siad our vows, lit the unity candle and then it was over! we went out (on the hottest day of the yr- no lie) to go get pix. that was a lot of fun. and i can not wait to see those!!! we came back and found out there was minimal drama, but i will not get into that because damn it, its my day and NO ONE will taint these memories. =) Everyone had a great time. the food was awesome! and the portions were huge. the cake was the BEST cake i have ever had. Dans moms family welcomed me to the family and told me how much they like me and how nice dan is (duh) =0). We danced our first dance then i danced with my dad, which made me cry. dan danced with his gramma, which i honestly didnt see cuz i was talking to my mom and aunt (oppps!) i went around and saw people and all of the wedding party and our friends had a GREAT time dancing. I danced with ian which was funny cuz we were acting stupid. Dan looked so cute all dressed up and it was nice to see people. Then towards the end of the day, my dj announces that my dad has a surprise for me! HE SANG! haha. it was so sweet I cried AGAIN. (so much for NOT needing the tissue). then dans family left, and we did our last dance and everyone circled around us. The day went by SO fast!! and it was so perfect. i look back and i have to smile, i never realized how many people cared about us and were happy for us. We got home and the first thing we did was open gifts! we did really well! Then we took off for The cape. The cape was perfect. it was nice and warm and sunny all weekend and dan and i laughed a ton. It was so perfect just to hang out with him and laugh and be silly. We went to the beach, Shopped, and ate at villagio. Then we went out for drinks @ british beer company. We also on our last day, drove up to the light house and that was nice too.
Over all my wedding was perfect, my parents really care alot about us and I'm very lucky to have dan. I can't believe Its all over! But it was perfect and i couldnt have asked for anything more.

vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!

so today is my last day at work before im on vacation. dan has already started his, so i am jealous. but im all done with my work, so im just wasting time until 5 (ish) when im going to leave. Dan and i are going on a nice little date tonight, for dinner and a movie. =0) aww! hehe. i can not believe its already here! its been the craziest year of my life! seems like yesterday i was planning my imaginary elopement and wondering wtf was wrong with dan! lol and now not only am i engaged, im getting married in FOUR DAYS!! how exciting! Everything seems to be going pretty well too, its just kind of waiting and seeing from this point and im not letting anyone (or their babies) bring me down. i will simply tell them to fuck them selfs!! lol=0)
I was so surprized when we were going down our list of things that i found out dan had already gotten my wedding gift!! i wonder when he got it?? and not only that, DAN DID SOMETHING EARLY!? lol. that HAS to be a first!
I went to costco today and got my parents a $100 Gift card. I figured we should just get them something they'll actually use, and since they spent so much money, its the least we can do. Wha a pain in the ass though it was to get one. they dont sell them at the service desk, so i had t wait in line. and of course everyones buying 2 million things. im like i want a fucking gift card!!! lol. but oh well! =0)
My weekend was really good. i got my hair and makeup done and that was fun being pampered. I cant wait to get my nails done and for sunday, cuz i am NOT graceful with my hands so i have 2 nails that are about to break, but i painted them with strengthener.
anyways.. im off to kill the last 90 mins!

its freeking friday baby!
Its been a long day. i should be working ahead for my vacation, but i really do not feel like it.
Bindi is of course feeling better since we called the docs. we went running with her last night and she was full of energy this morning.
As i was leaving this morning my neighbors were all out talking in their PJs. i felt very uncofortable being not only the only one in CLOTHES but the only one going to WORK! haha. my whole neighborhood is retired. The ppl across the street are like my parents age, but they dont work. so that leaves me and dan as the weirdos who leave the house at 8 every day and dont return untill 5!
We REALLY air some shitty Tv shows on this DAMN channel! im so sick of court shows and motel williams!
anyways! Totally happy that this day is almost over! =)

so last night we went to try the dresses on. apparently the bitch before us has SEVEN flower girls. so the place was a little crazy when we got there. needless to say they werent ready for us. i tried my dress on. it wasnt pressed yet, but i thought it looked beautiful. my mom and aunt however thought it looked like it was messed up. which they didnt mention till we were HOME. and they messed up on one of the brides maids dresses (which wasnt even ready till SIX THIRTY our apt was @ 5! so my mom stressed out all night and blah blah blah she came up here @ 1030 and we went.. NEEDLESS to say it was all in my moms head and the dress is PERFECT and i think she felt a little stupid after cuz then she was being all nice on he way back here. So we're picking it up pressed, and ready to go 1pm on Monday! That was my drama today. i feel like every day i have more and more drama. ugh.
The pup still is being strange, after reading im positive that its teething. we called the vets (well dan did) and they said theyre not sure and to bring her in tomorrow for her shots and they'll take a look @ her (she was supposed to go saturday so yey! one less thing for me to cram in this weekend!! and of course now dans hanging with her and she seems to be feeling a little better. =) lol. oh well, she needs to get her shots anyways.
i got so much work done today it was nuts! i want to make sure i can get as much done as possible before vacation. which is like 3 days away! whoop! nothing else has been going on. im on the search for white city shorts, u bet ur ass i cant find them!

I'm totally having one of those days. You know, the ones where nothing can possible go right!? First this monring i got up and its dans day off. so i took he puppy and put her on her little bathroom pad so she would go to the bathroom ( i didnt want to take her outside in my pj lol) but she decided shed rather follow me around. i went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and see pee's on the floor right away. GREAT! so whatever. i clean it and feed her and give her an ice cube for her poor mouth. I get all ready and sit down for my cereal and my mom calls me to make sure i don't forget my shoes and bra for the fitting tonight. i told her i know and i shut my cell to get off with her. Somehow my cell decided it wanted some of my cherios and leapt from my hands landing in my cereal! I watch in horror as this plays out in slow motion!! I quickly grabbed my phone and shook it dry and grabbed a clorox wipe since its covered in milk. i run into the bedroom and wake dan up and ask him if its broken (since he worked for verizon for so long). he said it just needs to dry and i need to leave it alone and take the battery out. So i freeked out a little bit cuz i was sure the phone was broken. i drove to work and threw it next to my heater till noon. it seems to be working fine, (but i just checked it and it randomly turned off? ugh. lol. guess its going back by the heater for a few more hrs! At least at this point its usable! so whatever.. i read online it takes a couple days to be normal again.. im just so agitated with my self for being so damn klutzy!
Tonight i have my final fitting! hopefully everything will go well and everyone will make it up here.
Last night we met with the Dj. it went well. he loved the songs and everything seems in place.
Bindi seems to be doing ok. shes not 100% but its absolutly her mouth cuz i tried looking in and she was none to happy. but shes still herself so thats always a plus.

well yesterday we decided on our song. We're gonna go with michael Buble. So yey! lol. We also started on our story scrap book. it was fun too look through and have memories. dan had a big box full of stuff that we've done. it was funny to see the movies and concerts and cards and letters we wrote each other. funny how many accumulate over 6 and half years. Dan got his Fenway paint last night. they have every color in fenway available. i just hope we dont end up with a room that ends up pesky pole yellow!! =)
Bindi has been sick since sunday morning. i think her mouth is bothering her. hopefully she'll snap out of it before the weekend.
im so freekign hungry right now. im trying to wait to eat, cuz we have crap to do after wirk so no dinner for a while. Blah.

i hate mondays

So Friday night was a lot of fun. Nicole and i went to providence and had some dinner and then went to the comedy connection. it was really fun. then we were gonna go out and bar hop with the boys but no one could think of anywhere to go so we went back to the condo had one drink and dan and i headed home cuz we were really tired. we went home and pretty much just passed out on the couch cuz we wanted to sleep cuz it was 2am and dan had to work in the morning and There was NO way bindi would have slept in bed since she most likely had been sleeping since 630 when i put her in her crate. Saturday i ran around all morning with my mom paying off things for the wedding and then dans nana and aunt came to c the house. they seemed to like it so that was nice. Then sat night netflix apparently forgot about us so we had no movie to watch. we went to the packie and got some Smirnoff raw ice tea. Holy shit that is my new favorite bitch drink. you can not even taste the alcohol in it. Sunday i painted the front door red since the new one was white and didnt really match anything. And my dad and i hung the new light in the dinning room, which BY The way is HOTT! lol. its red and it hangs down and it was on sale for 99 bucks normally 201! =)
This morning we applied for our marriage license. so now its all official :) whooo! lol. Tonight we're gonna go get the paint for the fenway room and wed dans gonna start to paint it.
So that was my weekend, now its almost 1230 on monday, im exhausted and im heading to halmark to get some Thank you notes for the wedding party and my parents and to get my scrap book that ive been wanting for a while.
