i forgot

about my freeky dream i had the other night. I had a dream that i was attacked by our neighbors puggle. Fast fwd to the next day when we were outside and the puggle (who is always on a leash) got lose from the kid that was walking him and RAN INTO our yard. I decided to face my fear of this stupid little dog and got down at pat him. he was fine! lol very friendly. But how WEIRD is that?!

Happy holidays

I absolutely have a bad case of the Mondays today.
My little holiday vacation was wonderful and much needed! We got out of here early on Wednesday and traffic wasnt bad a all. On my way home Ian decided he wanted to split rock band with dan and i. So we got home and went to best buy and bought the bundle pack. We stayed up until like 1 am playing. Ian is our drummer, dan is our guitarist and i am the lead singer. This game puts Guitar hero to shame! We played pretty much all weekend and did as much as we can on the medium level, so now we're stuck on some of the hard songs.

Friday I was going to hit up black Friday sales for a washer/drier and Lap top, but we went to best buy Wednesday and nothing was really nice euff to get up @ 4am for! And i think i want a dell anyways and they have them for around the same price. Friday we ended up going over eric and nicoles and we went to eat @ the G.A.P. and the boys played some pool. It was nice, we always forget about that place and the pub grub is really good and cheap! Then we went home and played scene it for xbox. that was so much fun!

Saturday and sunday dan and i decorated (i did the inside on turkey day) and it was freeking cold! like 20*s cold! We got it all done tho. We havent put up the tree yet cuz we need some kind of contraption to put around it to keep Bindi from eating it. It'll prob go up during the week or over the weekend. im on no rush. Everything else is decorated.

Yesterday we went to Kohls and got a new soy candle that smells like Christmas tree. We got the last one and it smells SOOO good!

So now its monday morning, Its raining and im so tired cuz i couldnt sleep last night. I am NOT enjoying this. Hopefully this week will go by quickly.

Dreams

For the past few nights i keep having these dreams. They are all different, but over all they have the same theme of a certain someone being overly mean to me and calling me names. Last night it was so vivid i can remember every single word exchanged in the confrontation. I really think its contributing to me not sleeping well, because i have been SUPER tired for a few days. I dunno, hopefully i can shake this dream and get on with a good night sleep!
I also had a dream last night that i did not do my Christmas shopping, Like i totally forgot! which is so unlike me cuz i love Christmas shopping. I think its cuz i really haven't even started shopping, or worrying about shopping yet this year. It sucks being a grown up and having to budget your money wisely. Sigh. Hopefully i can get some shopping done over the next few days and at least FEEL a little bit better!
Its almost time for turkey day break and i couldnt be happier! I defiantly need a few days to just regroup and get things done. (and maybe get a good night sleep!)

Amy's Kitchen Nightmares!

Last night i was going through our cabinets looking for ingredients for Dans bday cake, and i needed butter milk. Last yr i made dan a cake and it also called for buttermilk, so i had some left over...................... i called my dad to ask if it expires only to find out what i made dans disastrous red velvet cake with last year, was not in fact butter milk, it was butter milk POWDER, which is used to MAKE butter milk by mixing it with water!!!!! woops! Hopefully this yrs cake will be better! ive gotten a lot better at this cooking thing!

I dropped bindi off this morning and she was happy to c me go! such a kid!!

So i found this interesting list online, and its so ture..

Tomorrow i drop miss bindi off to get spayed. Even though she is a wicked brat i will miss her! last night she was sleeping on the couch with a huge smile on her face... I hope she doesnt get mad at us! But its for her own health!!

My friend was talking the other day about how her Bf's parents said they would love to have her as a daughter in law. Being the people pleaser that i am, i am very jealous of that... I wish anyone would say that to me!! Whateves! i guess im not as good of a person as i thought...

On to my other pet peaves.. i HATE when people complain about cops to me! like really? r u REALLY saying this to me right now? And then people complain about things they do off duty, Im sorry are they not allowed to have lives? UGH.
ANY WAYSSSSS

This weekend is daniel bday! he already got his gift, so im gonna make him a nice home cooked meal and cake! Hopefully the cake will come out better this year. =)

TSO

Saturday night was awesome! TSO was so much fun! The show was amazing and the DCU center is actually really small so there really are not any bad seats. There was a little stage right next to our section and they had pyro on in and they did a song there! it was cool =). When they did the pyro you could feel th heat! The band must get really hot during performances. But yea, i cant wait till next year cuz we really need to see them again!
So dan and i wanted to go to dinner before-hand, there was a show @ 3 and then our show was @ 8... We got to Worcester at 6 and the garage litterly filled up right after we parked! and then all the restaurants had an hr + wait, so we really didnt have time, doors were @ 7 so we just got in line and got the worlds saltiest hot dog and some nachos. =) lol. It was still a lot of fun tho!

yesterday i had a total New England moment... My neighbor was outside it was prob 40* out and we were talking about how it was nice out... lol, only in NE!

winter

Its been frosty the past 2 mornings! today i have on TIGHTS! its winter time! :(
hings have been pretty dull lately. Tonight we go to pick up our wedding album! i'm happy to finally get it.

I've always been a pretty private person. People who feel the need to document every part of live to anyone who will listen really bother me.. like what do i need to know about this or that? eh. Maybe its just me!!

That is all nothing else going on here! I cant wait for the weekend to be here, We've got the show and then im just gonna bum around the house. Its been a busy few weeks so it will be nice just to relax.

case of the mondays

I just got off the phone with a client and i told him i had a case of the monday's... he asked if i was hung over!? lol, i was like NO just tired!!

This weekend was really good. Friday i left early and got my car inspected, dan and i went to the movies and dinner. We ate @ the chateau and it was really nice. We sat in the pub area which is right on the water. I also had the best drink ever!! Spiced Apple Martini! it was so freeking good!
Saturday and sunday i shopped. and i shopped hard! lol. Perhaps thats why im so tired today...

Its starting to get cold out. There was even a tiny snow flake in the 5 day forecast =0( which makes me sad! At least its finally starting to feel like November! I can not believe what a quick year it has been!

This morning i broke out the trans-siberian cds and listened to them on the way to work. This weekend kicks off my christmas season with their concert! I cant wait to decorate!

I am so comfy today. My clothes are perfect for a cold monday in November!

I am on a quest now to find the recipe for spiced apple martinis! and other fun holiday treats! Time to go put on 30 lbs!

halloween

So Bindi the LOBSTER didnt work out as well as we would have liked. she kept it on, but she wouldnt stand still and we could barely get a pic of her!! *sad face* and she didnt really do great with the kids coming and ringing our door bell either, she barked at them all and even one girl was afraid of her! lol. So Halloween '07 was not the best success story! But we did get a lot of compliments on our pumpkins! =0)
So now starts my count down to christmas... 54 days to be exact! i need to put away my halloween decor and break out my winter stuff. Its funny thats its like 70 today! but its all good!
Im actually in a pretty good mood today, dans home and he got some errands done, i went to costco on my lunch and got a few necessities. And as i mentioned its REALLY nice out! I am such a weather affected person.
i pulled a muscle in my chest the other day. Presumably from the ever so heavy dog. It freeking hurts! every time i twist or reach it throbs. Hopefully it will go away soon!!!!! =0)
