sensitive

i try, i really really try to not let things get to me. Sometimes i feel like im too sensitive. Growing up i would get teased, a lot. I was awkward, nerdy, and quiet. When i was a kid people would make fun of my last name, in JR high ppl would make fun of my forehead, in high school people would make fun of my quietness/good grades. All of these things lumped together have made me VERY self conscious. In the back of my mind somewhere i know that these things are just words from people who dont matter or care. Kids are mean, and they leave u with mental scars that no matter how hard you try, u can never forget. I know i am not these things that they say about me. But i still think about them every time i look in the mirror. Which leads me to the point of this blog. When i was in JR high i was fighting with one girl over a boy (shocking i know) i had already been super self conscious about my body at this point and she called me fat. That would be the last time in my life that i would ever be able to eat without thinking about how fat the food was going to make me.
Fast forward to age 25. I am married to a great guy who loves me. Im no longer quiet or nerdy, and i have learned to cover up the forehead. Lately i have been feeling pretty good self esteem wise. I have great friends, a great job and a great husband. Yesterday afternoon i innocently said 'its freezing in here' to which my obnoxious coworker said 'im cold too im glad its no just cuz im bony cuz u are MEATY and ur cold' excuse me?! i am meaty?! i IMMEDIATELY went into fight mode and then my other coworker agreed with her and said that yes i am curvy. i want to cry and never eat again. when i die of an eating disorder u can all have her to thank. i never once considered my LEGS meaty. my legs (or so i thought) were thin. now i look down at my legs and i see frigging tree trunks. The kicker of this whole ordeal is that i am the same height as this person and she weighs a good 20-25 lbs more than i do and is @ least 2 sizes bigger than me. How she can say this is beyond me, but it has rehashed all these feelings. I feel like absolute crap right now. I write this blog with tears in my eyes and i am reverting back to the body image i had when i was 13, fat, ugly, and nerdy. The worst part of is she thinks she did no wrong she "apologized" by saying "i guess im sorry but idk what for" needless to say, im not talking to her.
Why do some people never grow up??

time off

i could so get used to having three day work weeks and lucky for me i have them for the rest of the year! I got lots accomplished on my mini vacation last week. I got 95% of my Christmas shopping done, got my oil changed and even managed to clean the house!

On Saturday Dan and i went on a date!! we saw Four Christmases at the new Cinemas in Foxboro. The theater was very nice and the movie was hilarious! After the movie we went to the Chateau in Norton and had some drinks. It was a lot of fun and i love the Chateau!

So im off again Thursday and friday of this week and i really have nothing planned. Thursday i think i will wrap my gifts and friday nicole invited us to go see a band in Foxboro with her and eric, so we will prob do that. Other than that i plan on a nice relaxing weekend before the craziness of Christmas comes!

control freak!

Im such a control freak. I hate having people touch my things. Since i was a kid i would always rather just do everything myself than rely on others. It really is a problem. So today i am preparing to be off for two days and instead of being excited about having two wonderful days to myself i am more concerned with the fact that my unorganized, irresponsible, lazy coworker will be taking care of my work load. I know no matter how little work i leave her she will have to touch my things. Every time i return from vacation its the same thing with her. Piles of unorganized faxes on my keyboard, binders left alphabetized and work only done half way. I always spend half of my first day back FIXING what she did. I know i have to learn to let people help me out, but its really hard for me!

Holidays

I am a Christmas freak! I love the holidays. I love decorating, baking and I just love the holiday cheer! Theres three weeks till Christmas and its going by WAY too fast!! i have barely gotten any shopping done, i have not gotten my outside lights out and according to the forecast its gonna be a crummy weekend to do so. I am still going to. i dont care if theres 6 feet of snow!! This weekend i am also baking cookies and hopefully making a ball christmas tree. Also starting next week i will finally have some days off to get things done!

Top Ten things i am thankful for...

so yesterday was thanksgiving and i have a lot thankful for:

1- My Husband! He is more than i deserve really and for the past 8 years (yikes!) he has been my bff!! Im thankful that he deals with me. I know i am tough to live with sometimes and i am thankful that he loves me just the same!! :)

2-My house! Im thankful that i have a house to call my own. Yes it is a lot of work (and money) to maintain, but I am thankful that we are able to have a place to do so.

3- My Job! I may complain about it day in and day out but bottom line, i am thankful for it. Its better than any job i have ever had, its in my field(ish) and it pays my bills. With the economy the way it is I am very lucky to still have a job!

4- My husbands job! I may worry every day of my life about him in his line of work but i am thankful he is doing something he not only loves but also helps other people. Im proud of you hunny! :)

5- My Family! My family is very supportive and always there when i need them. I am very lucky to have such a great family!

6- My friends! Im lucky to have some really great friends who keep me sane(ish) when i get stressed out or just need a good laugh :)

7- My new focus! It was sad to say good bye to the Neon, but the new car is the best! Its great on gas, has power windows AND locks and satellite radio and ambient lighting! lol. Yes it is selfish, but i love it and am thankful for my new wheels!

8- My Dog! She may be a huge brat some times, but im thankful to have such an awesome pup to come home to everyday and snuggle with.

9- That i am NOT a mom! I know this one seems weird, but i am thankful that i do not have a bratty mouth to feed, or a needy child. Maybe some day, but in this point in life i am thankful to be married withOUT children!

10- My health! Growing up i was sick (thyroid) and had to go to the docs every other week. I am thankful that is over with and i am able to live a normal, happy life.

weekend!

Yesterday i decided i wanted to kick it into high gear and get some christmas shopping done! My mom and dad were going shopping and asked if i wanted to tag along. I am never one to pass on a shopping trip, so i got my ass out of bed and started my shopping. We headed to the new Wareham crossing. It was actually really nice and not all that busy. I go a few things for the hubby and then we headed to the LL Bean Outlet. Here i bought TWO boat and tote bags for 7.50 each!! I used one as my shopping bag for the day! i bought tons of stuff and ended up with ZERO bags! (yey!) My favorite was the girl JC Penney when i told her i didnt need a bag she looked at me like i told her i had the plague! i just took my stuff and put it in my tote. So christmas shopping went So/so. i was highly distracted by the fact that i really wanted some new fuzzy boots and had TWO coupons for DSW. So i got new fuzzy boots and a pair of Jessica Simpson shoes that i can not find online (color blue) , that i gave to dan to give to me as a christmas present! lol. After that i went to joannes fabric and have decided i am going to hone my artsy skills and MAKE one of those ball christmas trees... We shall see how this goes! When i came home i made onion rings from The hungry girl cook book. They came out pretty good. It was just Fiber one crushed up with some seasonings as a coating and u bake them for 25 mins. I fail at coating things in egg wash and then breading them.... Maybe some day i will get it! lol. We had these with some turkey burgers! So my sunday was great and i can not wait to get this short work week over with and get working on decorating the house for my favorite Holiday!! :)

Where Did November go??

As i sit here working ahead on stuff for the holiday i realize that i am actually working on stuff for DECEMBER!!! Where did this month go?? we havent DONE anything and its like flown by! I feel like my life has been flying by! Working with scheduling i feel like im always rushing days. Seems like everything just kinda crept up on me this yr. Next week is thanksgiving, its suddenly F-ing freezing out, and i havent bought a SINGLE christmas gift!!!! this is SO unlike me! I blame it on being such an adult and having adult responsibilities! being a grown up sux!

Health

I used to eat SO healthy. I would never eat out and always cook light. I used to never snack @ night. Lately i eat like 700 lb man! Nachos, beer, cake, chips, everything! i HATE that i have been eating so terrible, but it is SO delicious! I am addicted to nachos. And its easier AND cheaper to eat like crap! Saturday i decided before i eat myself out of my favorite skinny jeans i need to get a grip of my indulgent eating! While @ my favorite store target i picked up a healthy cookbook . I found a lot of pretty good healthier choice recipes. Now hopefully my loving husband will eat some of these!! Im not saying i want to GIVE UP eating junk. I just want to eat good food, healthier, every now and again. I'm Italian, eating fatty delicious foods is inevitable but i look forward to trying these new recipes!

Everybodys's working for the weekend!

This weekend is Dans birthday so last night we went to the bruins game! It was really fun and we absolutely killed the habs! There was a great fight and even some bickering on the T (hockey fans are awesome!) It was a great night and today i am exhausted!

Yesterday as i was leaving here i found out my office is FINALLY starting to recycle! We are SO wasteful here and it has always driven me nuts that we just trash TONS of paper a day! We dont even pretend like we are going to reuse things! I have always been a bit of a tree hugging planet lover! When i was a kid i used to get on my mom to recycle her plastics and was always turning off running water and shutting off lights as i leave a room. Now that i am an adult, we recycle everything in our house, we use energy efficient bulbs and i never turn on lights that are not needed. I drive a fuel efficient car and bring my own bags to grocery stores. So finally my 'carbon neutral job' is starting to actually recycle. (i wont get into the fact that we leave about 100 plasma Tvs on 24 hrs a day!)

Also yesterday when i got home i realized i needed gas. Imagine my surprise when i pulled into the station and it was 1.99!!! holy crap! i am so happy that i dont need to remortgage my house to fill up my focus!!

So yesterday i had a great day! i just need to make it thru the next few hrs of work and then its the weekend and dans bday!!

keeping secrets

I am NOT good @ keeping secrets from ppl! I have a big mouth, and i love to share things! For the past 3 weeks i have been keeping a secret from Dan and its been KILLING me! I got him Tix to the Bruins game for his bday as a surprise! Its his day off today and i took a half day and wanted to surprise him with everything. (his bday isnt till sunday, so it was unexpected.) I am SO happy that today has finally come and he has the tickets! i was about to explode not being able to tell him!!

A Healthy home is a Happy home

Or at least thats what the lady on the today show is saying. All these years my mother has been telling me all these crazy things that cause cancer and now it seems the rest of the world has jumped on her train. Its really scary when u think of all these things we have grown up with and now they are finding out they are bad for you. Plastics, PVC, teflon, etc. Just makes me really paranoid.

Every week the weekend goes by faster and faster. This weekend it went by exceptionally fast!!

Friday i got home and Dan had made dinner and cake!! YUM! =) i was surprised by the dinner, cake and wine! So we had a great dinner and hung out. Saturday we ran around and stuff and watched the happening. The movie was EH. i didnt really love the acting in it, but it wasnt a terrible movie.

Sunday dan had to work all day so i puttered around and went to window shop furniture... that was a bad idea! I didnt need anything and now i want all kinds of things! thanks Jordans for being so over priced!!!!

So now its back to work. Sometimes i wish i was an heir so i wouldnt have to work all the time :)

Election 08

First and foremost this was my first presidential election. i did not vote 4 years ago cuz i was @ school and just didnt have time to make it back down to raynham. I was not really concerned with it at the time cuz to me, it was not a huge deal. I'm not into politics at all, but this time it felt different. The issues really will have an impact on my life. I am so happy that Obama won. Its great to see someone young, eloquent and motivated in the white house!! Im excited to see if things actually do change. Its scary having half your household income coming in from a state job in these bad economic times. So heres to at least four years of change! :)

The ballot questions in MA also really concerned me. Question 1 would have eliminated the income tax, which would have cut programs and jobs. Thankfully this didnt pass. Question 2 was about marijuana. This unfortunately passed. so drug dealers, come on down to MA and distribute your contraband. Question 3 was to ban greyhound racing in MA. This is something that was very near and dear to my heart. My mom has worked @ the track for 24 years!! I grew up watching the dogs!! The whole issue was ridiculous to me. Dogs run. Its what they do. How Grey2k can say this is inhumane is absurd to me! Why dont they go after real issues?! Puppy mills, Mall pet stores, etc! The dogs in pet stores are in their cages for WEEKS if not MONTHS with no exercise! How they could think that owners of greyhounds would mistreat their dogs (who make them money) is ridiculous!!! What about horse racing? Horses get euthanized for having a broken ankle! When the dogs get hurt they are put up for an adoption into a good home. Working in advertising, it makes me so aggravated that that the No on 3 people didnt even TRY. They should have brought to light the lies of the grey2k fanaticals. They should have reminded people how much revenue and taxes the tracks bring in! I am so proud of my mom for taking a stand against these people. For attending countless rallies and trying to educate the people. My shy mother even appeared in a Tv commercial! (reading the comments, these people are morons, we are not 'trailer trash' my mother is a stay at home mom and put her family before her career, and this job was perfect for that). This morning my mom calls me in tears because a the opinions of a few crazy radicals shut down her job. In her 5o's she has no idea what she is going to do for a job. I feel so awful for her, the other workers and most of all the dogs. What is going to happen to all these dogs? Most of them will go to states with little regulation and they will be abused. I fear i may have to go adopt 5 new family members :(

Halloween

halloween was so much fun!!! The costumes were perfect. We really didnt get as many trick or treaters as we normally do, so we have a freeking ton of candy left.

Friday @ work was a very trying day. I dont know how much longer i can tolerate a certain someone and their super attitude!

Sunday dan bindi and i went for a hike. Corgi-vicious embarrassed us by try to eat a child!! (shes def my puppy!! lol) Other than that the weekend was great. it was nice and relaxing and i love to have those... especially when its dans weekend off! Now i just have to make it thru the next 5 days here!!

fall

I can not believe that tomorrow is freeking Halloween!! Last night we carved Pumpkins which always seems way too tedious, but they always end up looking awesome! I made a trick or treating goblin and dan made a spider. Ian made the scariest of them all... a bruins logo! lol

Tomorrow, eric and nic are coming over, it should be fun! We always get a lot of kids that come to the house and Bindis costume looks great! :) Other than that no plans for the weekend, Dans off and i just look forward to hanging out and not running around!!

Dancin' in the Wind

What a weekend!! Caitlin arrived with no problems on Friday. We got home and went to eat at the Great American Pub and got some food. After a long day we were tired and we needed to get up early so we called it a night fairly early. Saturday we went to the cape. The weather was beautiful! We Ate @ the British Beer Company and caitlin got her Chowdah and i finally had some pastrami that i have been craving! it was delish. we walked on the beach and then drove to go do some shopping. Once we were done w/ that we drove up to the light house where they were having a wedding. We were able to see some sites and then head home and get ready for the HANSON show! We got to the show and it was amazing! i am so glad that i have stuck with the band all these years. The venue was awesome and the show was amazing. I can not believe after all these years of caitlin and i talking about seeing a show together, we actually DID! it was awesome to c them together for the first time after 11 yrs of being friends! Hanson is such a defining part of my life and im happy i have stayed such a fanson! <3 We tried to c their bus, but they kicked us out so we didnt get to, but its ok. Sunday we went up to boston and mustered up the strength to not go to the hanson show! lol. We had fun in boston and saw more sites. Sat we watched the red sox fucking lose and monday we got up bright and early and got Caitlin to logan! Of course dan and i got lost on the way home (cuz its not a trip to boston unless we get lost!!) I was so sad to see her go! we had so much fun! i wish she lived up here! It was a wonderful weekend full of fun and lots of memories! Thanks caitlin for coming up and being an honorary New englander for the weekend!! :)

Well the Day has come...

Caitlin is arriving in boston tomorrow! i can not believe that shes actually coming!! The weather looks like its going to be nice (for us not her! lol) and its not going to rain. After months of preparing and waiting shes finally coming! I hope everything goes well. I will post all about it on Monday!
Everything else has been good. Nothing exciting. Works been slow this week, and its killing me cuz im so bored.

This weekend was pretty good. i got a lot done and had nicoles shower. The shower wasnt too bad! and the food was delish (which is really all that matters). The weather was beautiful and still is. and next weekend caitlins here! i cant wait! we have so much planned i hope we can get it all in.

accident prone...

Im a klutz! I always walk into things, trip over stuff or bang into things. Last night, im innocently cooking dinner when my finger got stuck in the cabinet door!!! Now my finger is swollen and black and blue, and it KILLS! ugh! Friday a slammed my knee into my desk (which i totally forgot about until i did it AGAIN today!) So to my body, i am sorry you have so many bumps and bruises! I will try to b more mindful of walking into/slamming into things from now on. (or start wearing head to toe pads)

20 years in the making!!!

NEW kids finally arrived last night!!! I have waited 20 long years for this night and it was incredible!! The guys can still dance! They even break danced! it was sooo good! i felt like a little kid again! Today, my ears are ringing, my voice is horse and i can not keep my eyes open. But those are all the best things about concerts! They sang some new songs and all their old hits!! Nicole and i sang and danced and screamed and jumped through the whole thing. People would have thought we were drunk, but we were sober!! lol. I have not had so much fun in such a long time! =)
Another funny part about the show was the way ppl were dressed. Most ppl had their fat tummys hanging out. And a lot of ppl had old school stuff on. Im so happy i got tickets to the show. Natasha Beddingfield opened and even she was good!

i love acting like a kid again! Its crazy to me that this guy i liked when i was 5 still does the same thing to me @ 25!

hurricane

So Hurricane Kyle is coming this weekend on top of all this rain we're getting today. Its not too bad, but def put a damper on my weekend plans!! Looks like tomorrow i will b chilling inside all day!! =)

Sunday is FINALLY new kids! i am SOOOO friggin excited!

Fall

Today is the first full day of fall. I'm so sad that summer is over. The older i get the fast life seems to be passing me by...

We were supposed to go apple picking this upcoming Saturday, but the 5 day says rain on friday and saturday... So looks like we wont be picking any apples (unless i go to shaws and pick a bag of apples! lol). =(

This past weekend i decorated the house for Halloween! i got a really cute scare crow! The one good thing about fall is its almost the holiday season.

I am so happy that in one long ass hour, the weekend starts!! Mentally, i need the weekend more than anything right now. Dans off this weekend. Nothing is really planed. Tonight we're gonna go out on a 'date' haha. Should be fun.

work

Sometime work agitates me. Mostly Coworkers. I hate that just because some CHOOSE to be a mother, i get the shit end of the stick with everything. Its just not fair. Then said co worker gets pissy about everything. Its like, u get away with so much, HOW can u be so negative?! Don't get me wrong. I do love my job and my co workers. Just sometimes its a bit too much for me. I think i need another vacation. =)

On a brighter note caitlins coming in 30 days!!! i can not wait!! I have a busy few weeks coming up.

9/11

i can not belive its been 7 years since the 9/11 attacks. I remember the day so vividly. It was literally my first week away from home. The sky was a perfect blue and it was crispy and fall like (sort of how it is right now). The previous night My roomies and I took the T into Boston and met Dan at his work (he was working south station at this time). We walked all around the city. It was a great night and really one of my first times going into the city on my own. That next morning i woke up to the sweltering heat that was dorm life. I knew it probably wasnt this warm outside so i turned on the TV to find out the weather. Every channel had the first tower on fire. I really didnt think anything of it and continued to get ready for my day. As im sitting there i saw the 2nd plane hit, live, all alone in my dorm. i was like OH fuck this isnt good. No sooner did that happen, but my mother called telling me not to leave campus. I called dan and he was on his way to school. Finally my roomies get back from class and i tell them. we all sat there transfixed on the tv. I had class @ 11 so i went to my stupid Spanish class. After class dan calls me to tell me hes coming to get me. I still had one more class so i went to that and dan came and took me home. I remember sitting on the couch that whole night, it was unlike anything that i had ever been thru. every single station had the rescue efforts on. I think we watched this all night. The next day i had class and dan drove me back up to the city. It was weird driving and seeing the Amber alerts saying that Logan was closed and flights were grounded. That day i was working @ Financial aid and i found out the Bin Ladens Nephew was studying @ my school and had been flown out of the country that day. I had to pull his Financial aid file. Talk about creepy.
So here it is, 7 years later, so much has changed in my life since that night out in Boston. That was the last day of normalcy in the country and nothing has been the same since.

This weekend was SUPPOSED to be all about a nice tropical storm, but my area only had some small things blown around and some rain...
So yea, Saturday we went to eric and nicoles. Nothing too exciting. Nic made dinner, i made cookies. Sunday i took on the small project of organizing the file cabinet which took all day and i was hot and sweating. But at least we are orginized... when did i become a 50 yr old house wife?!

Washington DC

So ive been trying to write this blog forever now!!
Dc was so much fun!
We left at 6am on saturday morning! We were soo tired but both really excited! we couldnt start the 8 hr drive w/o some dunkins. The ride wasn't too bad, but it was def LONG. we got stuck in some traffic in NJ which promptly added about an hour and a half to the drive. We were really happy to get to the hotel and the 35 dollars a day parking wasnt that bad! the hotel was AMAZING. the room was so sheik and the staff was unbelievably friendly!! Our first night there we walked all around. We saw the WWII memorial, Lincoln memorial and the white house. I had on my brand new sneakers which was a very very bad idea. my feet still have cuts on them over a week later! lol We stopped at CVS and got a ton of bandaids which really came in handy thru out the weekend!! After walking for a bit we went to the Capital City Brewery. It was great to sit and have a beer! we got back to the hotel and we passed out by 11! Sunday we got up nice and early and went to the Washington monument and then the Simithonian and the air and space museum. All were really fun. The space mues was cool cuz i love space! haha. Dan and i went on a motion simulator here. It was like a video game where dan was in control of the airplane and i had to shoot. Needless to say we sepnt this whole ride upside down! After this we went to the washington memorial and took the elevator to the top! I hate elevators and was VERY scared to go 500 feet in the air, but im really gad we did it. The veiws were AMAZING! Im very glad we did it! After we finished there, we were absolutely famished!! We stopped at this little hole in the wall called Luigis and got some great pizza and beer! Monday was our big anniversary! i still cant belive its been a whole yr already!! lol. So we got up early again and we were SO tired of walking everywhere in the 90* weather (with humidity too!!) that we took the metro everywhere!! We went up to arlington which was less then great, but dan had fun. Im glad we went and saw it, but it was just so hot and walking everywhere in arlington was just getting to me. When we were finally done with that we went to georgetown which everyone told me was AMAZING. Well we treked there and it was like a mini Newbury street. I was so disappointed =( So we had PLANNED on finding somewhere to eat while we were there, but everything was was over priced so we metro-ed back to the city and went to hard rock. It was fun and a nice place to just relax and ppl watch. Oh and that morning we went to the crime and punishment Mues and the police mem. The police mem made me kinda sad. it was surreal to see all those names of ppls loved ones who just left for work one morning and never came home. The c+p mues was so cool! we spent forever there! lol. but it was cool! we also got to c where Americas most wanted is taped!! lol Tuesday morning we checked out and headed home. We were making GREAT time when we realized we missed one of our exits! (we had been following the GPS but didnt want to go over the George washington bridge in NY so we had written directions to get off a an exit before it!!) So we get to the brige and we were a little nervous, and besides the fact it cost a small fortune to get over it, it was not as bad as ppl made it out to be.
So all in all the trip was awesome! I learned that the Delaware bridge is the SCARIEST bridge i have ever seen in my life, That if u use an american express gift card @ a gas station they put a hold on it and u are stuck in DC with no MONEY! and that driving 8 hrs really kinda sucks! lol.
but it was such a blast! we would go back again, prob in the spring to see the cherry blossoms.

vacation time... FINALLY

it has been such a long week! its finally time for vacation and i really need it. everyone at work is pissing me off and i just want to be home and done with it!

olympics

So the past week has been filled with me, dan and bindi on the couch watching the Olympics. I have literally watched nothing else. This has resulted in me being EXHAUSTED! lol Especially since they put all the good events on @ freeking 11pm! WHY GOD WHY!?
Hopefully now that swimming is over i can get a good nights sleep!
in other news, there is nothing going on. Just waiting for the weekend. Dan and I are going to DC for our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! its insane to me that we have been married a whole year! it still sounds weird saying 'my husband!' lol

im a big fat loser

So after 8 or so years, many, many, many emails, txt and Aim chats CAITLIN is coming!!! and what is it that we're going to do you ask?? Well see hanson of course!! =) She booked her flight and i bought the tix about 30 mins ago! So in the span of 2 weeks, i am seeing NKOTB and Hanson. It makes me sad the New kids sold out the garden and hanson cant sell out a rinky dink venue in foxboro anymore!! lol. But yea! Im so excited for caitlin to come up to Boston! We have so much planned for when shes in town (i hope the weather cooperates!!) Its come to my attention tha people think its strange that shes coming to meet an online friend. I do not find it strange at all. Ive known her longer than Ive Know my HUSBAND! lol. So yes! i cant wait for Cailtin to come! Look out MA! :)

things i would rather do other than jury duty on monday:

1-root canal
2- have my wisdom teeth removed again
3-spend the night in jail
4- work for 24 hrs straight.
5- have my foot run over by a car

why god, why is this my civic duty!? i feel like im being punished.

When u least expect it

Friday night i took off my favorite pair of earrings and placed them on top of my dresser, where i always do. On Monday morning, when i went to put them on, one was missing. I really thought nothing of it cuz dan was sleeping and it was dark. I was aggravated, but figured i could look better when i got home and i wasnt dark in that corner! When i got home i looked everywhere, under the bed, in my closet, inside the drawers! EVERYWHERE. i even took everything out of one of my drawers last night, hoping it had fallen in there. I essentially gave up last night. i had searched every crevice that it could have been in! I assumed that some how Bindi got a hold of it and it was gone for good! This morning i was doing my hair and i needed a jaw clip to hold my hair back. I have this clipped on the handle of my dresser. I unclipped it and heard something fall to the floor. I looked down and what did i see shining on the floor? MY missing earring! i was so excited and SO HAPPY that they are back in my ears today! i missed u pretty earrings! do not disappear again!

530 can not come fast enuff. We have no plans for the weekend for the first time in like 3 months and i can not wait!

A Sad State of Affairs.

U know things are sad when ur dad calls u to tell u excitedly that he just paid 3.77 for gas and u gasp "OMG REALLY THATS SO CHEAP I'LL HAVE TO GO GET SOME!"
Is this the world we live in now? that to get 10 gallons last night it only cost me 37.70 and i was like SCORE! lol

randomness

Security at my job is pretty tight. we have to scan our security card 4 separate times before we even get into the building. On friday I arrived and there was a man parked at the gate we use to scan ourselves in. and he was standing at the gate guests use to speak with the guards. So he comes to my window and starts babbling about having something for Tim McCarver. Tim does not work here, he works for Fox sports National! So i tell him that i work in advertising and i do not have access to this man!! And he wants to know how to by pass the guards, i tell him that he cant and he needs to call the main line. He then wants to have the sports number. Which i do not have! lol. so this arguing with me goes on for like 5 mins FINALLY someone else pulls up and he goes to their car... I go around this guy and ask the guards to Buzz me in... When i get in i tell them and theyre liek 'its fine now he left' GEE FUCKING THANKS for coming to my aide! How did they know this man wasnt trying to shoot me or something?? It was kinda scarey, but i learned my lesson, next time someone is blocking the entrance go for a ride around the block until they r gone!

Anyways, Saturday was great. The weather was so nice and i laid in the sun, listened to mp3s and read my book (also went swimming!) When dan got home we headed to newport to see Joel McHale. He was wicked funny! And his opening act was some 17 yr old from boston, he was Hilarious and totally vulgar! haha. But it was a really good time! Newport, on the other hand, kinda sux. It was REALLY busy, TONS of traffic and like a million people on foot making driving even MORE impossible! When we finally got to the Yachting center parking was TWENTY dollars! EESH! So we parked, then went for a walk to find some place to eat. We found this total friggin dive bar and got some grub. my martini (WHICH WAS SMALL AS HELL) was NINE dollars. Then i had One beer @ the Yachting place (which was 5 dollars, much more reasonable! LMAO). I think i would like newport better in the winter, less tourists. i will have to check it out then!

Sunday, my dad came over and we ripped up the back walk and the front walk and some shrubs! I hauled bricks all day and then when it was FINALLY time to start laying the bricks it starts to fucking rain! So we're like 'ok we'll wait it out'... Well it didnt stop until like 930! SO my house looks like shit right now. Oh well, hopefully they will finish it today! =)

twister!!

Yesterday raynham had a TORNADO warning!! it was so scary! i was at work having a shit fit! But everyone/thing is ok! well except for my garage and cellar! Long story short, the new room leaks and the contractor is coming tonight to take a look @ it. Hopefully he will fix it for free cuz that room was NOT cheap!

Today it has been raining all day so im sure we have even more water.

i have a bit of a gripe. Why is it when u are dealing with really important things like ur credit card, the customer service department doesnt speak english?! i got some random call about fraud on my card i called and i dont know what happened? but my card got canceled and im getting a new number. i dont know why and i dont know how, all i know is that everyone i talked to was not helpful and confused me more, so i emailed them and cussed them out.

bad blogger

I am really so bad at this blogging crap. Nothings going on. I had a pretty boring weekend. Works been ok. I had a bit of a rough week last week, but it was not a huge deal. This week has been painful slow!

Dan and i were planning on going to myrtle beach for our one year anniversary! (i can not believe how fast this year has gone by! its unreal!!) But now we're actually thinking of going to D.C. We've been looking at hotels and things to do down there. At first i was a little unsure about going, but i think it should be fun. Theres a zoo, shops, and the Smithsonian which everyone says is amazing! So now its all about saving up some money and booking a hotel. We will rent a car and it should take us about 8 hrs or so to get there, so it shouldnt be too bad! (much closer than myrtle beach which was 15 and a half!!) So hopefully, we will have a nice romantic first anniversary!

Monday Morning Came too Soon...

i could not have asked for a better mini vacation. The weather was perfect!

On Thursday we went to Falmouth where we spent the morning at the beach reading, tanning, and listening to music. After that we ventured back to the center of town and went shopping and had lunch @ Liam Maguires. It was a perfect relaxing beach day.

On Friday, we went into Boston to the Museum of Science. They had a baseball exhibit that was pretty cool then we puttered around the rest of the museum for a little while. After that we went to eat at at Boston Beer Work where i got this delicious watermelon beer. While we were there a bruins player was there and dan turned 5 years old. Needless to say dan went and got a pic and an autograph with him. I hope he didnt mind! lol.

Saurday's weather was less than perfect during the day. It was cloudy so i used this day to kind of catch up on house work. Then, since i am the worlds greatest wife, I wen to Dropkick Murphys with dan. My new favorite thing to do is watch drunk people while i am stone cold sober. It was at McCoy stadium and ppl were having SUCH a hard time walking up and down the stairs. It was so funny to watch ppl fall or try not to fall with 2 beers in their hand. lol. The show wasnt terrible. I had a good time. (cuz im fun!) lol

Sunday was another sunny day so i parked it at my parents pool with a book and some music. Then i came home, made a macaroni salad and dan grilled.

All in all i had a great mini vacation! I was so sad to see it end. Now im back at work, where it is a tad busy and i wish i was back in bed!!!

red white and blue

So this weekend was interesting. First of all our location in Ma really sucks sometimes, as we had storms ALL WEEKEND. Not bad storms, just rained and was cloudy from friday morning till Sunday at about 5 at which point the sun decided to make a cameo and make it really hot while we sat in the bleachers!

Anyways, my 4th was good. Went to my parents house and played board games since it was shitty and too cold to go in the pool. We then went home and parked it on the couch to watch the fireworks in boston NOT IN HD! booo! lol But luckily our neighbors decided ti break the law and we got a nice view of some fire works from our picture window! Thanks person down the street! =)

Saturday nic and eric came over for a 4th party. it was a lot of fun, but i am not going into details cuz the night did NOT end well! =0) All i can say is it was a growing experience and if we never drink again, i think we would all be ok with that!

Sunday during the day we hung out. Then @ 5 we went to a Rox game with my brother and his friend. That was a lot of fun!! we lost again. lol. but the game was fun none the less. When we got home i was so tired and couldnt wait to shower and get in my pjs!

We had quite the weekend and it went by way too fast! I have thursday and friday off you know my bossy ass is making us fit a million activities into 2 days! (seriously what is my problem!? lol)

thunder!

I hate thunder!!! currently in my area it is hailing, thundering and lightening. When i was about 12 my house was struck by lightening and it was very traumatic for me. Now the lights here are flickering. i need a pillow to hide my head in.

Ive got a pocket full of sunshine

Natasha Beddingfield is the devil. Seriously all someone (caitlin) had to do was mention it and now all i can hear is her singing it. (and i get to c it live in a few months!!! lol)

Anyways, This weekend was SPECTACULAR! Friday i was disheartened by the amount of traffic on route one so i decided to take an adventure home! I officially am the biggest moron ever to live!! When i got to the exit i needed to take (THATS IN RAYNHAM THE TOWN I HAVE LIVED IN FOR TWENTY YEARS) i decided 'oh wait i want the next one!' WHICH was WRONG! lol, i ended up getting home fine, but it was just annoying that i really AM that STUPID. But when i got home Dan took all my stuff from me. He had made a nice romantic dinner for us complete with candles and red wine! lol So it was a perfect way to spend my friday night!

Saturday we ran around doing errands and stuff and then we went to the drive in! We saw Wall-E and Get smart! We got there at 645ish and there were already a ton of ppl there. We made drinks and snacked for a while. The movies finally started close to 9pm! Wall-e was Awesome!! i am such a sucker for disney pixar films! It was such a good story, even with out a lot of dialog it held my attention! i seriously am in love with Wall-e and eva! Then during intermission because we were drinking malibu and coke zero we both had to pee really bad. i waited in line for the WHOLE intermission! lol Get smart was really funny too!! It ended around 1am ish and we trecked back to the house. The drive in was so much fun! and only 20 bucks for the two movies!! Alot of ppl left after wall-e and where we were parked we were easily able to get out of our spot and on the road. Overall it was a great experience its just too bad its so far away!!

Sunday we did a lot more running around and cleaning. I was so tired last night i slept like a log!

I am very happy that this is a four day work week!! Long weekends are the BEST! :)

I need a hug

This week has been very strange for me. Getting a good nights sleep has been near impossible!!
Two nights ago i had a terrible dream, i really dont know what rehashed the feelings, but something did. Its funny how almost a year can go by, but the feelings that were hurt are still fresh. I am usually not the type to let ppl/things/emotions get to me. But this is something that bugs me almost on a daily basis. Its unfathomable to me how people can treat each other certain ways and its okay with them and I come off as the bad guy. To me certain people in my life come first (no matter what) and i really cant understand how this is so wrong? The dream was very vivid and i can remember every detail of it (down to what i was wearing). It really threw me off for the rest of the day because i was so upset by this dream and i am really unable to speak about it with anyone. (so dont bother asking cuz i am not gonna tell u) I just needed to get this out. Feelings were hurt, for no reason, and almost a year later i still feel horrible about myself. I guess i really never will be good enuff.
So all this lead me to be totally off yesterday. I still have that 'off' feeling. Like Im not interested really in doing anything. I also feel like somethings f*cked up work wise. I am just waiting for something here to go wrong. I know its just a matter of time... i can feel it. And im sure it will be tomorrow cuz fridays certainly do blow. I dunno. I hate feeling this way. I am pushing everyone away today and yesterday cuz i just am not interested in anything but crawling back into bed and watching i love the new millennium :) I think a good cure for this would be a nice extended vacation.

The Entwistle trial just concluded. First off, i can not believe how fast it went. And second what a sad sad case. The man has shown absolutely no emotion. He is, as my husband said, 'a cold hearted killer'. He will now spend the rest of his life (hes only like 28!) in prison right down the road in walpole! Its so sad and scary to think one minuet ur in love and happy with a brand new baby, then the next the man ur in love with murders u and ur child. What kind of sick killer is this man?! Rip lily and Rachael.

shortest.weekend.ever.

I knew this weekend would fly due to the fact that we had it pack full of stuff to do! Friday bowling was a lot of fun! But we all really sucked!! If the goal was to MISS pins as many times as possible i would have won. I managed the 2nd time around to bowl around a 60?? i dont even know. We all sucked. I was really shocked at how little the bowling alley has changed since i was 8. It really is exactly the same. LoL.
Saturday was beautiful and sunny, so you know i was beached at the pool all day! i read and listened to my mp3 player. It was perfect!
Then we Went to the Rox game!
Our Seats were really good! (we even had a waitress AND cup holders!) The rox ended up losing, but the game was really fun. They gave away diamond earrings to person number 247... i was 250!!! SO CLOSE. And then after the game there was a Bon Jovi Tribute band named Jovi. THAT was lame. The guy was like identical to Jon Bon Jovi. lol. we stayed for like 3 songs then headed home!

Sunday was supposed to be raining, but Raynham must have had an umbrella cuz i think we're the only place in the state that didnt get storms. It did not detour from our plans of having a lazy Myth busters marathon Sunday. :) We also watched some soccer (BOTH my teams have been eliminated so it is a sad, sad day in Amy land!)

why is it only thurday? haha. Ive been sitting here for two and a half hours watching the celetics parade and its painful. i couldnt be any more bored! Tomorrow we're going Mystic bowling, i havent been bowling since i was like 10! This should be interesting. =) (im pretty good @ wii bowling, hopefully this skill will carry over to real life bowling!! lol)
Saturday We're going to the Brockton Rox game. Tix were cheap and we cant get tix to the actual sox, so this is the best we could do =)


Guess its time to go back to watching the parade. wooo. lol

Celtics

Last night we stayed up way to late watching the basketball game. I had already been really tired, and then i got up and got ready for bed and i got a 2nd wind. I watched people flood the streets and climb billboards and street signs! I was really hoping that someone would tip the giant replica trophy over that was on the street. But i dont think they did!

Works been work. I got caught in a thunderstorm on my ride home yesterday and it was freeking scary. but i made it! horray!

OH and i almost forgot!! This morning i was on rt 1 at one of the 600 sets of lights and i look over and i see a Chinese couple from RI sating at me, like bent over the seat looking at me. so i like just ignored them and kept my eyes ahead. Then the next light comes and their STILL doing it. i was really uncomfortable! So as we're driving to the next light i check my face in the mirror to make sure i didt have something on me! There was nothing so at the next light i stayed a little bit behind their car so they couldnt look in @ me. Finally they turned off somewhere! What a creepy way to start the day!

Monday's make me sleepy!!

I'm cold, I'm tired, AND its monday! At least the weekend was great! Friday I came home from work and dan bought me PINK DAISIES!! i love daisies AND i love pink! hes so sweet! We then went to chilis and got the mini burgers that we had been craving forever (they were so freeking good!). After that we went home and hung out. Saturday Dan was off and i tried to go tanning. It was pretty cloudy out, but it was still super hot so i cant really tell if i got any color or not. Then We washed out cars! (Farrah is much happier now that her yellow coat its gone!). Of course since we didnt watch the weather on friday or saturday we were unaware that it was going to rain for the next eternity! so shes dirty AGAIN! lol, but she looked nice while it lasted! Sunday i went to my parents house and ended up hanging out with Ian and being extremely bored. When dan got home we watched meet the Spartans. It was stupid as hell and only a little funny! lol.
Now it's monday. Blek! i can wait for this weekend. Dan and i have been trying to plan little weekend things lately so hopefully we will get everything on our 'want to do this summer' list done! =)

fast week!

TGIF! this week actually went by rather quickly. Work has been busy-ish so thats most likely why! =)
Nothing going on this weekend Which i guess is good. I want to give farrah her first bath since she is currently yellow and has been pooped on!!
The pup could use a bath too! yes, im an super exciting. Dan and i are having a date night tonight. i honestly cant remember the last time just the two of us went out. Hopefully by the time i get home we decide where we want to go!! :)

Great Weekend

I wish every weekend would be as perfect as this one. I do wish it lasted longer tho!
The weekend was 90*+ and i am a total fan of this weather. As a New Englander who is forced to suffer through miserable winters, i really do appreciate the summer, sunny, warm days we get. i got up early on Saturday so i could enjoy some of the day by the pool. I just sat by the pool and read. I came home, took a shower and got ready for Eric and Sarah wedding. It was in Sandwhich at the Car museum the ceremony took place outside and it was a little bit hot. But as the sun set there was a nice warm breeze and the humidity seemed to dissipate. Dan and i used my moms GPS to get there and we literally flew to the cape. There was zero traffic and it took us a little over 30 mins. So that was good and Bad. lol. We chilled in the car for a bit and goofed around until the ceremony started. The ceremony came and went then time for cocktails. I had like 4 cape coders! lol some rums and cokes, wine, champagne, yea. i was a little toasted. But we had so much fun. Dan and i danced to NKOTB and lots of other songs. Dan even jigged! After the wedding we went To Hyannis with steve and his wife for some more drinks. We went to a little mexican restaurant called Sam Diegos. lol. it was pretty good. After that we headed home. we prob got home like at 2 am! But yea, the wedding was really nice and i had a great time!

Sunday we slept in a bit then went to the pool. It was so hot and the water was a little warmer than it was on Sat. (it was like 72 yesterday 64 on sat!) It started to get cloudy and we werent sure if it was going to rain or not so we packed it up and went home. We vedged for a bit did groceries and the came home and grilled. (it never rained!) We watched Semi-Pro at night (which i thought was funny, not THE best will F. movie, but still funny!) then the celetics game and called it a night.

Needless to say when the alarm went of @ 705 am i was not ready for my weekend to be over. But i had a great weekend and it was nice to go out and have a great time with my hubby! <3

thats is all. i have my heater up to about 100* and im still freezing. UGH
oh and my new wedge shoes hurt. yea im a barrel of sunshine today!

Its been such a long time

I am really really bad about staying up on this thing!

Since i last wrote, nothing exciting has happened. I attended my brothers graduation from HS which was really weird. I saw some old teachers (none saw me) and some one i used to work with @ the paper (also LUCKILY didnt see me). Its weird that my lil bro is going to COLLEGE in the fall!!! He asked me if i felt old. I really dont. But it is a bit weird! (maybe i AM getting old!)

My weekend was uneventful. I cleaned and tanned so a nice typical summer weekend. =)

My week at work has been going good. Ive been training to be a back up to another person here, so at least ive had somethings to do. And it breaks up the day nicely. Went tanning today @ lunch in a dangerously short mini and tank (im sure the workers digging up the side of the rd loved that!).... Now im just patiently awaiting 5pm so i can head home.

Long Weekend

Long weekends are my favorite, for real!

I had a wonderful weekend. Saturday we did yard work and that was pretty good. Sunday we wii fitted and just hung out. Also excellent. Yesterday i hung out @ the pool and go an incredible tan/sun burn. I have SPF 4 that is in a spray can. Who knew that SPF 4 provided such protection. I am very burned in spots i missed. (bends in my arms, strip on on tummy and between my boobs)
The sun burn resulted in me not sleeping well, coupled with the dog being a bed hog and it being hot. (why is there no 'comfortable' in my house??)

So now its Tuesday and im back at work. It feels like a Monday, but at least that will make the week go by quicker. =)

This day has been unmanageably long and tedious.

Monday Monday

weekends always go by so fast! especially when they are filled from the second you wake up till the second u fall asleep.

Saturday Dans gramma wanted to stop by and then go to a jeweler to get a ring of hers thats shes giving to me sized and fixed. So we got up early and speed cleaned the house before she got there (she ended up being like 10 mins early! so we were still eating breakfast when she got there!!). After we did that we came home, went to Lowes and got some seed for our lawn.... My parents came over and we dug up the front lawn and reseeded it. This took all afternoon. Of course we had plans with eric and nicole for the night AND we had no food at the house! (because it has occurred to us that we do not eat! lol) So in a matter of 1 hour we cleaned up all the mud that got tracked into the house, cleaned up the garden tools we had been using AND went to the grocery store! Nic and eric got there and litterly we were JUST finishing everything! eesh! Nicole and i went to the mall and i was being really good about not spending money! (I really WAS and that is the key word...) I needed a dress for a wedding we are going to in a few weeks. I litterly bought the first one i tried on. It fits really well and i love the colors of it! so im happy! i even have white sandals that i can wear with it! =) horray. So then nicole starts going into all these stores shopping. i am trying really hard at this point to NOT buy clothes (i even walked away from THIS) That was really hard cuz I LOVE IT!! Then we popped into Victoria's secret (where i had a coupon!) I ended up buying 5 pairs of underwear, shorts and WAIT FOR IT..... perfume that purrs when u pick it up!! lol i love it. Then i got a card from halmark and fell in love with 600 frames cuz i have a frame problem =(

Sunday was a bit on the rough side. I woke up and just felt like absolute shit. My mouth was dry my nose was stuffy and i ached EVERYWHERE. We went out and looked for a window for the bathroom since its rotten, but of course we can not find the right size so it will prob cost us about a million dollars. Half way through this outing i started to feel REALLY shitty. My allergies plus being sore from the yard work finally caught up with me! We stopped at target and got burts bees bath salts and dan is the best hubby ever. He finished up the lawn while i laid on the couch and watch LETS MAKE A DEAL! lol (side bar- things from the 70s=funny) When he came in he drew me a bath and was super romantically sweet (too bad i was so sickly!) i laid in the tub for what seemed like an eternity and it REALLY helped! i would say i felt like 90% better! woo! lol

So today its back to work! i got lost on my way in. (i know shocking right?!) and the backs of my legs are semi sore still, my eyes feel like they are swollen and are crazily itchy! 4 more days till the long weekend =)

My phone hasnt rang at ALL today. and ive gotten like a total of 3 emails all day. It really makes for a long day. i could really use some entertainment. So please, someone, entertain me!!

HUMP day!

i have nothing to blog about but im like ridiculously bored and im all caught up on work thru like NEXT week. BLAH and everyone seems to have decided its a great time to go out for lunch. So im here all by my lonesome.

So yesterday the news needed a shot of 'ppl working' and my back and desk TOTALLY made it to the 10 o clock news! im so famous! haha.

In other news, nothing is happening. I need to find a dress this weekend to wear to a wedding thats in a few weeks. Actually like 2 weeks! and i LOATH dress shopping since im all sorts of miss-proportionate. This should be the opposite of fun. Dans also home this weekend. Plans are completely weather Dependant. so who knows what we will be up to.

Eternally Twelve Years Old!

It has never been a secret that i am a huge child... Its also never been a secret that growing up i was a huge teeny bopper. It should come as no surprise to anyone that at 25 years old i literally SQUEALED with joy when i typed in my credit card number to order my NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK tickets! I have wanted to see NKTOB since i was seriously 5 or 6! And now, TWENTY years later, I AM GOING!!!!!!! I refrained from ordering the 75 dollar tix and got the cheap seats (being a grown up sux! gone are the days of 200 dollar hanson tix! haha). So September 28th @ 730pm my childhood dream will FINALLY come true!

friday

Its friday; Its raining; and i dont think my allergies can get any worse than they are right now. I feel like i want to crawl into my nice warm bed and sleep for like a week. I dont even think that would be long enuff. luckily its 230 and its almost time to go home. dan has the weekend off so hopefully we will be able to enjoy some of it. As per usual, it shall be raining. i really dislike new england sometimes.

11 years ago today Middle of Nowhere changed my life forever and made me a HUGE g33k! Thanks hanson! How many nights did i spend listening to this CD and watching that VHS tape (Tulsa Tokyo and the middle of nowhere). Now 11 years later i have memories of all the loser nights i spent with these guys! How many sleepless nights i spent trying to win meet and greets and what a salacious flirt i was at shows to get me closer to the band. Now my teenage years are in a giant box in the spare bedroom. Dan saw this box for the first time a few weeks ago when i was looking for my NKOTB stuff! (i started loser-hood young!!!). i think he was slightly horrified at my collection! (glad i waited until after we got married to show him!!! haha)

new car smell

I Love my new car so much! I never thought i could have fun while commuting! So far the past 2 days i have spent the entire ride playing with buttons. I have completely become addicted to the satellite radio feature (im hoping it stays free forever!!) I also enjoy calling ppl from my steering wheel!! Its so cute! im very happy with my new set of wheels!

Play Artist Hanson

I am now the proud owner of a brand new 08 red Ford Focus!!! Its loaded too! power everything, moon roof, sync, ambient lighting, satellite radio and tons of other stuff that i dont need!! lol.

The first place we went to for cars gave us such a hard time i thought for sure we were NOT going to be getting the car of my dreams. We left there since they wanted my first born before i was even able to drive in the car (that they LATER told me they would have to ORDER for me). We went to the 2nd place and there was the car right up front! Two other people were also looking at focus while we were there! i was like stay away from mine! haha. So i fell in love with it right away and the dealership was so much better! They were laid back and made us feel comfortable. It made my car buying experience perfect!! I got a great deal on it too!! I can not wait to pick it up tonight and play with it!! lol

A bit of me is feeling nostalgic. I will miss you terribly Leon, you have been with me through a lot and i know you will make someone else really happy! i hope they take good care of you and give you lots of oil changes and car washes!! :'(

weather

I am absolutely a weather affected person. Last week i was barely tired, was motivated to go for walks and even ventured out every day at lunch! The weather last week was unheard of for an entire week in April for New England. We all knew it wouldnt last, so we made the most of it. This weekend it came to an end. Saturday during our after dinner walk it was so cold! I spent the day cleaning the house and trying to get the pollen and stuff off the pupster. we got her nice and clean and fluffy! Sunday was absolutely miserable. All that motivation from the past week was gone and i was back into my rut of a life. I slept till 1115!! I barely left the house all day (only to gas up the neon!!) and i was freeeeeezing! I hate my mood being determined by clouds and rain. Today was no different. I woke up and it was soo cold in the house i didnt want to get out of bed. Now im here at work (cold) and i have my heat on and it pouring out. All i want to do is nap. It does not help that it isnt supposed to be nice again until like Wednesday (i use the term loosely as its going to be breezy, clouds and 55* -thanks weather plug in!)
One of the things i like about New England is how we get to appricaite these nicer days since we endure such a long, miserable winter. But after having a little taste i want more. Im sick of being cold and having to wear 50 shirts @ home! i want to open the windows and sit out back and read! Summer can not get here fast enough!

TGIF

This has been SUCH a week for me. It started with hitting that damn pole @ mcdonalds and then yesterday @ 8am i get pulled over! (by someone who attended my WEDDING). Luckily he just laughed at me and let me go.
Last night we went to eat at chilis and stupid me thought it was a great idea to get the big mouth jalepeno burger. I ate like 3/4s of it and like 1/2 my fries and i am just NOW starting to feel hungry! i swear to god i felt sooo sick last night it was crazy. Next time i will stick to chicken tacos!!
Nothing planned for the weekend, just catching up on sleep and such and maybe some cleaning. im so fun! =)

lime green is way better

Today is going WAY better than yesterday! Dan and i were able to fix my mirror and we didnt even have to use anything ghetto. Team work helped us pop it back in!! Hooray for team work! So i was happy and i immediately felt like 83492 lbs lighter. I had been so stressed all afternoon about it!

Today we went tanning again we gathered a little group of ppl and i just laid down, shut my eyes and blocked everyone/thing out. Its nice to just b mindless every now and again. And i definitely got some color. I smell like copertone now, but its ok! The sun, i think, also made me a little tired. I could absolutely use a nap.

Yellow

When one is wearing yellow they should have a perfectly sunny day. Not so today. Things were going great when i went out this afternoon and headed to old navy. I stopped @ mcdonalds to get some sweet tea and i FUCKING HIT A POLE AT THE DRIVE THRU. my fucking mirror is now broken =( Dan THINKS he can fix it... We'll see. I need a drink if u ask me! lol. hopefully i can make it home minus my mirror without crashing. I would like to crawl in a hole now

weekend should b longer.

This weekend was sooo perfect! Dan took Saturday off and the weather was perfect. We got up had some breakfast and headed out for a few errands. I laid in the sun for a few hours and we got the pup a runner for her to hang out with us. It was really nice to just hang out in the sun with the fam. We went for ice cream and i got my FAV flavor (pineapple orange) in a cone! yuuuunmmmmy! Then we watched the crazy bruins game and i think the noise @ my house was 'garden level!!' lol

Sunday dan worked all day. i laid in the sun and was basically domestic all day. I took the frigging puppy for a walk by myself and the bitch, who never does anything while we're on a walk, decides to shit right in the middle of the road!! i was so embarrassed! i hope no one saw!! note to self, ALWAY keep a baggy in ur pocket!! ugh! lol.

Now im back to work, on a state holiday, and its a drag. I was able to get out for lunch and its nice and sunny out. So i'll take it! lol. Game 7 of the bruins game @ my house AGAIN tonight! lol

spring is in the air part TWO

All week i have made it a point to get out of this building for lunch. The weather has been picture perfect. Today has been the best day of all. I broke out the flip flops and Capri pants. I brought my beach bag and picnic blanket and a pair of shorts. Then at lunch my boss and I changed into our beach clothes and drove down the road to the baseball field in her bmw! We broke put some baby oil and laid down some blankets and tanned for about an hour... it was so perfect. Now im back here, i feel completely rejuvenated! tanning should be part of my work day EVERY day!!

Spring is in the air

This weekend ended up being superb! We woke up on saturday and it was sunny so i turned on weather scan and there was no rain coming! So we got up got dressed packed a picnic and took the dog for a hike! She LOVED it! It was a perfect day!
Sunday i bummed around and didnt really do much.
Monday i opened my big fat mouth here and my co workers ended up finding out that they MISSED my birthday!! They ended up getting me an ice cream cake! lol. It was good. But i was embarrassed! LOL
Then yesterday Ace Young from Idol was here. He was super hot and it was cool. Everyone was all desperate housewives over him. Lol and he LOVED every Minuet of it!! lol I have Pix on my Picasa

Random things

First, i was driving home from work the other day and noticed that one of the houses i drive by still had christmas decor up in their front yard! Snow has been melted for MONTHS now there is NO excuses for this!
Second, All week we have been taking bindi for walks, We make it all the way to like feet from our house and this cat tries attacking her! its happened twice now! Bindi looks at it, but is otherwise uninterested, shes just happy to be out for a walk!! This cat is relentless and followed us all the way to the house last night. Shouldnt the cat be afraid of my dog?
Third, why is it when im not bubbly or talkative ppl ASSUME something is wrong?? maybe i just want to keep to myself today? maybe im enjoying the solace of a friday afternoon being done with my work?
And Finally, why does it always rain on my outdoor plans?? :( i feel like i live in a rain forest!

I Love spring! Its finally starting to get nice out. No super nice, but nice enough that We have started to walk Bindi after dinner and she LOVES it! Its also been nice enough to only have to wear my spring jacket. Now if it were only nice enough to wear all my new clothes, that would be another story! Anyways, i will take it! Im bummed that Saturday is supposed to be a wash out. I have decided that i really need a get away from this place! like a nice long weekend Just away from everyone... Im getting really tired of people... people singing to be specific! lol.

Manic monday

This morning for some stupid reason the alarm SAID it was 705am but it was ACTUALLY 605am... idk wtf was wrong with it. but dan was like i'll just set my phone... well dippy set his phone for 705PM soooo we woke up @ 745!!! i got dressed and ready and out the damn door sooo fast! it was crazy! I have been off all day now too. Like i never really woke up, but its all good. almost 5.. almost time to go home! =)
my weekend was good. Saturday we went to the B's game. it was a snooze fest. There was, however, a nice bar room brawl in an alley on our way back to the car... THAT was the highlight of the night.
yesterday we hung out with nic and eric... we went shopping and out to eat.
That was pretty much the extent of my weekend. As always it went by waaaaay to fast and i can not wait for the next one =)

having no control

This weekend Daniel and i went to the Wrentham Outlets for my birthday present (a beautiful new spring coach bag). We went to coach it was crazy busy. But i found a purse i loved and it came home with me (and only 130 bucks!! what a freeking deal!!) So after this great bargain we ventured off for Dan to find some new sunglasses. We went to pac-sun where i got a bunch of bracelets and dan got 2 pairs of sun glasses (seriously i could live @ the outlets) . Next we wanted to venture off to sketchers but as we were walking there we went by the sony store. Dan wanted to pop in a drool over Tvs. So we popped in and drolled and then found that they were having a great sale... Needless to say our journey never ended at sketchers. Our journey ended right there @ the sony store when we purchased a 50 inch HDTV. It was a complete impulse buy... Who buys a 50 inch TV on an IMPULSE!? us!! thats who!! lol But they were having a great sale and we wanted it! lol. So now in my tiny living room is a giant obnoxious tv. Today dan went to comcast to get the HD receiver... mythbusters HD here i come! =) lol OH and discovery health! (really i am so lame!) lol

Crazy

Today has been absolutly nuts. i HAD to take a break or i was going to shove my head thru the comp!! =) ok maybe not really! I'm glad its the weekend and added bonus; Dans home sunday!! Double added bonus; we're going to COACH! =) I really have nothing to blog about! the past 2 days have been really quiet. ive spent both days drowning out our wonderful programing with yahoo music. I've listened to it so much lately and i love when i get the random hanson song! haha. cuz im queer like that!

Spring fever has taken over for me. I do not want to wear my winter cloths any more and this morning even tho it was raining AND f-ing cold i still wore my spring jacket! ( i later regretted that when it was pouring once i got to work. Also our 1000000 tulips we planted are coming up!! i can not wait for them to bloom! I also can not wait to get flowers and plant them, even tho most of them died last year! lol. But this year we will take better care of them (it was actually only towards Aug did they start dying).

So i signed up for M-W's word of the day. I thought it might be fun to learn some new words... well yesterdays word was colleague... thats for giving me a 3 grade vocab word! lol. oh well today was disremember(<~which spell check is telling me is SPELLED wrong!). i am regretting this already!

Birthday

Today is My Mutha-f-ing birthday!! lol. so far so good! D.C. got me a ring, which kays didnt have and was supposed to order for me, but they havent called me back, sooooooo idk. lol. I wish it was a little bit warmer out today, but at least its sunny, so i guess i'll take it. My parents got me a cake yesterday from White's (the same as the wedding cake) and it was sooo good! i can not wait to go home and have a slice tonight!!

This weekend was good. i did some shopping and we watched movies. The shopping was overly disappointing.. everything i wanted no where had. i did however make out good at bath and body works. I do agree with my dear friend caitlin that the mall has gotten beyond lame. Its always crowded, all the stores want to sell u something that u do not want, and people just hang out there with black hoodies TRYING to look like theyre Ghetto. lol. ah. when did i get old?

sleep is my friend!

Last night i think was the first time in god knows how long that i not only fell asleep before 1130, but slept the WHOLE NIGHT! lol. I woke up @ 620 and thought it was 650 and then i looked again and it was 622 so i went back to sleep and slept till the alarm went off. It was so great. Tho since I have been so used to not sleeping i feel a bit sluggish today? does that make sense? it might also be because its f-ing cold and raining out. But its ok, the spring is almost here!! ONE MORE DAY :)

Yesterday i bought the most obnoxious sunglasses. They are huge, even my cheeks are shielded from the sun! so of course that means as soon as i bought them the sun ran away! =( haha.
Last night we gave he pup a good brushing. She loves baths so u would think she would enjoy being brushed. She absolutely HATES it!! so 50 bites later we finally finished and i think she lost like 30 lbs, i have never seen so much hair come off her! i think shes starting to shed... LOVELY! haha

Why I dont Blog

I think the reason i never keep up with this thing is because my life is INCREDIBLY boring! lol.
I have no major events or anything to talk about.
This weekend was uneventful. I did some shopping, got some spring clothes that i cant wear yet, and basically just chilled.
On sunday Dan and i went looking for Shamrock shakes, which no one had!! The last McDonalds we went to said they had them and then when we got to the window (AFTER we paid) they were like JK we dont have them so we got our money back and went home sad =(.
So today is the one week mark till my birthday!! I dont know how i feel about turning 25, its like all down hill from here right? But it IS my birthday and it IS my favorite! lol so i think i will still be excited!! =) Although, i am feeling a little Jipped with Easter being so close, I BETTER GET A CAKE ---DANIEL--- lol. =0)
Lately i have has such a hard time sleeping. i dont know what my problem is. Like im tired all day then around 10pm i start getting a 2nd wind and im awake, but the time 11 rolls around im not tired any more and then i just lay in bed and think. im pretty sure that is the problem. i need to stop thinking so much, especially when im laying in bed @ 11pm and need to get some sleep.

Work and Such

Im sitting here at work, really not feeling like working. Its sunny out and it looks beautiful and I am stuck inside!! Well im not REALLY stuck, i could go out for lunch but that means I would spend money. I really do not want to do that. So i will just look out our giant glass window and wish that i had a desk outside! (even tho its really cold out, but the sun is shinning!) Can i just say that i LOVE the time change? i got home and it was still sunny! i LOVE it! <3

This weekend was really good. It went by way to fast as always! We went to the Bruins game as part of Ians Bday gift! it was a lot of fun, i ate SO MUCH food!! There were fights, AND we won in the last like 2 mins of the game! So it was very exciting! To top things off it was THUNDER STICK day again! i was so happy! These thunder sticks were different then the ones we got last time too! They were shaped like hockey sticks!! lol. freekin awesome! (really its the little things in life for me!)

Nothing else exciting happened for the weekend really. Works been the same, nothing exciting to report here! (which i guess is a good thing!!)

one of those days

Do u ever have one of those days where it just drags on forever? Today has been one of those. i SWEAR its been 415 for like 3 hours now!
Lately i havent been sleeping well. Im a wicked night owl, so this is a huge problem. Im dragging all day long. And now its raining. i just cant wait to get in my car and drive home. hopefully i will stay awake!
Tonight Dans going to the bruins game with Ian that he won tickets to so im going to have to try really hard to make it through Idol with out falling asleep! lol.
Im so lame :)

so long!

I have been such a bad blogger! i have not updated this in forever! Mostly because work has been busy and nothings been going on in my life!

My weekend was pretty good. Of course as always it goes by fast. We played some wii Olympics on Sat and i think i have a Wii related injury... My right wrist is KILLING me... Like it HURT to change the radio stations this morning. NOT good! lol 'yes doctor i think i got hurt running the 400 or maybe it was while swimming, tho it could have been during table tennis or skulls!' lol

Todays one of the first nice days we've had in a while. I really have spring fever! I cant wait to ditch the boots and sweater and trade them in for tanks and flip flops! The nice weather couldnt have come at a better time either. I have been having a bad case of the winter blues lately. I Really need a few nice days to reinvigorate me! Tomorrow i supposed to be the nicer of the 2 days, maybe i'll go out at lunch. The only problem is theres really nothing to do around here except shop! lol. Maybe i'll just go window shopping!! haha, (YEA RIGHT that always turns into money spent!)

Anyways! i will keep up with this from now on! Work is back to normal and i will try to be more interesting!! =)

busy!

I have so been trying to write in this for a week, but i keep getting caught up @ work.

So my new years was good. We went to eric and nicoles and ate, drank and played games. It was a fun way to ring in the new year.

2007 was a pretty good year. I got married, which was the highlight. I'm glad that in 2008 there will be no major planning and we can just take it easy. We also got our puppy in 2007. So all in all '07 was good! heres to a good '08. I do not belive in resolutions, so i will not be making one. Just becuz its a new yr doesnt mean u need to make some kind of empty promises to lose weight or save the world. I do this stuff anyways, so just becuz the dates changed doesnt mean im gonna beat my self up over things.

So far '08's been rough! lol. Work has been nuts. i wish the damn writers would stop striking, being short staffed sucks and i have no time to do anything. But screw it cuz today, its 60* and i'll be damned if im gonna sit here @ my desk doing other ppls work all day. so tough shit for them.
